Engie Retail is focused on the sale of electricity & gas. Retail Belgium includes also several End-to-End entities (Senec, Cozie, ) focused on the sale of energy related products and services supporting the residential, professional and small B2B customers in the energy transition.
**The merging of Cozie and Senec request an entrepreneurial Head of Finance.**
To make smart cash management and growth decisions, it all starts with sound bookkeeping and accounting. These give you quality data on costs and expenditures, and also better visibility into revenue. Plus, good accounting ensures you’re compliant on tax and regulatory requirements. All of this is made possible with a good **Head of Finance. Which is where you come in**
**YOUR CHALLENGE as Head of Finance**
- Participate in the elaboration of the vision, mission and strategy of the entity, the definition and follow-up of the KPI’s (financial and non-financial) in collaboration with the operational entities
- Drive investment decisions at all levels of the organization to insure efficient risk/reward financial & resource allocation
- Challenge the operational teams, propose options and financial & economical solutions
- Take the lead on the establishment of the annual financial statements, guaranteeing the exhaustiveness, accuracy and reliability of the financial accounts in both BGAAP and IFRS
- Elaborate, coordinate and follow-up of the PAMT and budget exercise of the entity
- Lead the monthly/quarterly closings and provide analysis of the actual operational performance against targets and previous periods
- Accompany the auditors during their yearly financial audit
- Ensure cash flow follow up and forecast
- Develop - in collaboration with the CFO of Retail Belgium - financial proposals in order to realize the necessary Fundraising.
- Lead the (financial) integration of the different entities of Cozie and Senec into one heating champion, by creating one merged transversal finance team
- Leading and coaching the accounting and controlling teams
**YOUR PROFILE**
- University degree and at least 10 years of experience in different financial positions in large multi-disciplinary organizations
- Proven experience in financial management, operations and team management
- Business Partner capable of developing financial solutions adapted to market needs and changes
- Reliable to interface with operational teams of all levels
- Solid grasp of the Group’s financial rules and regulations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for leading and motivating a large network towards change
- Flexible and willing to make frequent trips to the operational branches in Belgium
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
- As Head of Finance, you will report to the CEO of Cozie/Senec as well as to the CFO of Engie Retail Belgium
