Our client, **The European Committee for Standardization** (CEN) and **the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization** (CENELEC) are two European Standardization Organizations and their management centre (CCMC) is located in **Brussels**. Their mission is to foster the European economy in global trading, the welfare of European citizens and the environment.
Through their services they provide platforms for the **development of European Standards and other technical specifications.**
To consolidate their activity, **CCMC** is joining forces with **Pro**select in order to find their:
**« Deputy Head of Finance (M/F/X) »**Votre défi **:
- Financial matters, Leadership & Management- As a
- **Deputy Head of Finance**, you are responsible for
- **financial matters for two separate legal entities** under the leadership of the Head of Finance.
- The position entails
- **leadership**, with the view
- ** to support** a team of 4 staff and subcontractors.
- **Mains responsibilities**:
- Supervise the associations’ financial matters, and act as deputy Head of Department;
- Manage and review period-end accounting activities;
- Prepare timely and reliable budget, actual and forecasting reports, including risk assessment;
- Prepare the documents for the Governance (Finance Committees, Administrative Boards, General Assemblies);
- Ensure fulfillment of all Belgian statutory and tax requirements for Non-Profit organizations and compliance with the associations’ policies;
- Be the first point of contact for the statutory auditors;
- Manage the cash flow forecast and advise on finance strategies (operations and investment funding, sustainability, liquidity risks);
- Supervise the public funded grant agreements portfolio (in particular, EC and EFTA), in compliance with relevant financial rules and associations’ internal processes.**Vos talents**:

- **5 years in a similar function**, preferably in an international environment (working with membership-based and/or non-profit organizations is an asset);
- You **Master** in Accounting / Finance / Economics (MBA or equivalent);
You are fluent in **English** (written and spoken), French** or** Dutch (written/spoken);
You demonstrate **accountability, develop and maintain effective systems** for the delivery of relevant output, including the measurement of their effectiveness (ongoing evaluation);
You **deliver results** by planning and prioritizing, anticipating and resolving problems and meeting tight deadlines;
