**Global Graduate Program 2024 - **Tech track at Volvo Car Gent**

**A lot can happen in 24 months.**

Do you have the curiosity to learn, the will to develop and the drive to create change? We’re looking for **skilled engineers, technical enthusiasts **and change-makers to join our transformation. Our tech track at Volvo Car Gent will allow you to deep dive into your technical areas of interest combining a local and global perspective.

**About our Global Graduate Program**

The Global Graduate Program is **a 2-year career-boosting program** designed around your potential in our global organization Globally, we offer two program tracks - Business and Tech - allowing both future business enablers and skilled engineers to thrive and develop with us. Both career paths are equally important to successfully drive transformation In **Volvo Car Gent**, one of our manufacturing plants, we offer the tech track, reaching out to Dutch speaking technical oriented graduates.

Every year, Volvo Cars welcomes around **50 graduates globally**. By joining the program, you become part of **an inclusive community** of other young professionals. Throughout the program you will all come together for common module weeks, projects, and learning opportunities.

The rotational program takes you on a journey within Volvo cars where you get to explore your skills and interests **in 4 different departments** during the two years. You will start in Gent, more specific in the department which you are recruited into, and your hiring manager will guide and support you throughout the program.

The program starts **August 19th, 2024**. The Volvo Car Gent young graduates are both located in Gent and Globally, with a ratio of **3 Gent departments**, **1 global department** reflecting your personal choice and of course **the program sessions at our global Head Quarters** in Gothenburg, Sweden.

**About this area, **Tech track at Volvo Car Gent**

Our graduate positions within **engineering** will be in teams across our Research & Development and Manufacturing organizations.

**What we offer our graduates**

You will get:

- **Permanent employment**. After the program you will have a permanent position.
- **Visa/work permit support** given where necessary. Relocation support offered for international moves
- **€3769 monthly gross salary**:

- All extralegal white collar VCG salary benefits such as E-car program, 15 extra holiday days, insurance package including hospitalization, group insurance
- Possibility for international experience during year 2

**Are you one of our new graduates?**

To be considered for the program, you must have a **master's degree completed between June 2024 and the start of the program.**

For this area, we are looking for graduates with master’s degrees in engineering or with a clear technical affinity such as manufacturing, supply chain, product development, vehicle/automotive engineering, CAE, mechatronics or similar. For some positions, knowledge of LEAN and production systems is beneficial. Moreover, to be considered for the **Tech track at Volvo Car Gent a proficient level of Dutch is required.**

**Recruitment process**

The last step in the recruitment process is **an in-depth interview** with the hiring manager and an HR representative. The interviews will be conducted via Teams or face to face during January and February 2024. **Employment offers** will be communicated continuously during February -April 2024.
