We are currently looking for a Cost Controller for one of our client active in the logistics industry and located in Brussels.
In addition to its headquarters in Brussels, this company is located across 5 other countries throughout Europe. Fully dedicated to their mission, this team of specialists strive for change and development within the logistics sector. **Function**:
- Monitoring and updating cost estimates
- Reviewing expense reports
- Conducting cost analyses to identify areas where costs can be reduced or eliminated
- Monitoring budgets to ensure that spending does not exceed approved levels
- Collecting cost data from suppliers or subcontractors
- Preparing reports on costs and expenses
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked
**Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or business administration
- At least 2 years of experience in the controlling domain
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French and a good knowledge of English
- You are solution-oriented and have a proactive attitude with a rigorous and analytical mindset
- You are known for being a friendly and fun person to work with. Ambiance at work is extremely important for you
