**Would you like to have an impact and join them in co-creating sustainable solutions for a better world?**
We are looking for a **Cost Controller** to join the team at their headquarters in Sint-Pieters-Woluwe, Brussels. As the **financial right-hand of the Project Manager**, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success and profitability of their construction projects. With the ability to **both support and challenge the PM**, you'll help **maintain the budget** and **avoid costly delays**. One day of delay could mean over €100K in fees per day, making this role critical to the company's continued growth and success.
**What you’ll do, more concretely**:
- Manage multiple projects, split time between HQ and on-site locations or be completely dedicated to one larger project on-site (40% of the time at the office in Brussels and 60% of the time on site across Brussels and Flanders)
- Monthly cost control reporting & analysis
- Streamline administrative processes
- Review project cost control under the supervision of project managers
- Provide accurate and coherent financial reporting
- Collaborate with technical teams to gather necessary information for cost control and reporting
- Ensure necessary accounting data is transferred to project managers
- Report results and analysis to Cost Control Manager
- Follow the Project Manager and the works on site
**Here’s the experience and the “Nice to have”**
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Economics or Finance
- You have a **first experience in the field of cost control or financial audit**:
- You’re a quick learner with the ability to work independently
- You are **fluent in Dutch** and have a basic understanding of French
- Your analytical and reporting abilities are sharp as a knife
- You’re a pro with MS Office
- You're a collaborative force with brilliant communication skills
