**Job Purpose**
This position reports to the Area Sales Manager South and will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and gro-wing our exisitng customers, prospecting and introducing new customers to build our business.
Within Straumann’s sales team, digital solutions are important tools to offer our customers a complete sales ser-vice. Our digital solutions can be found, among others, in hospitals, dental practices, private clinics and dental la-boratories. In the Straumann Account Manager position, we focus on supporting Dental laboratories and Dental Prosthetic Clinics in their daily work as best we can.
The Account Manager is self-motivated to achieve targets and excellent service to the Customer. The Territory Manager is based in the field, working a hybrid arrangement whereby they will prospect and account manage vir-tually and face to face, and will have to be able to meet production demands immediately after training.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for the organizations products/Services.
- Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Meets quotas for production on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Co-ordinates sales effort with marketing, Sales Management, Accounting, Customer Services and Logistics.
- Analyzes the territory potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
- Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value oppor-tunities.
- Utilization of Customer Relationship Management Software and Prospecting software to enable identification and progress of customer interactions.
- Identifies advantages of and compares organization’s products and services.
- Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time investment for the territory.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive ac-tivities, and potential for new products and services.
- Participates in trade shows and conventions.

**Requirements needed**
**Qualifications**
- Outside sales/account management experience
- Dental Practice background is an advantage
- Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Digitally enabled - able to sell in a virtual Teams environment
- Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word/Excel).
- Must be a team player
- English & French

- Actively challenge customer’s perceptions with a view to presenting Straumann based solutions.
- Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships based on trust and respect
- Demonstrated aptitude from problem-solving
- Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team.
- Valid Driver’s license
