**Minimum qualifications**:

- Experience as a people manager in strategy development, leadership engagement, and team development.
- Experience in a government/public sector related industry.
- Ability to speak and write in English and French fluently.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience as a customer-facing field engineer.
- Experience in data and information management as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
- Knowledge of Big Data, PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, public cloud, and related industry and technical concepts.
- Ability to craft a message and tailor it for an audience.

As a Google Cloud Sales Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of pre-sales Engineers, who engage with prospects, understand and assess customer requirements, prepare and present demonstrations of Google Cloud products and services, guide the customer through implementation and production deployment, and address and overcome technical objections that arise throughout the business process.

**Responsibilities**:
- Work with business management to determine proper staffing levels to support annual goals, establish job requisitions, assemble and lead the interview team to fill open positions.
- Organize, train, and equip the Customer Engineering (CE) team. Assess CE team Go-to-Market readiness, identify gaps in CE preparedness, and build plans to ensure the CE team is properly trained and equipped to successfully perform in support of annual goals.
- Work with the Google Cloud Sales team and leadership to identify, qualify, and prioritize coverage for business opportunities.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through working with Sales Account, Customer Support, Product Management, Customer Solutions, and Engineering teams.
