We are hiring a **Workplace Security Specialist (WSS) - 5511** for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

As **Workplace Security Specialist (WSS) - 5511** you will be responsible for:
- Conducting security risk assessments for information systems
- Create/update security plans for EC information systems, following EC methodology
- Conduct security assessments of information systems
- Diagnose potentially complex security-related and/or identity-related issues
- Provide support to development teams to design, implement and support effective solutions for mitigating security risks specified in the security plans of information systems
- Support integrating different security technologies in a complex environment.
- Contributing to security studies associated with information system projects
- Liaise with the unit DIGIT.01 to keep the technical and solution architecture of reusable solutions in RSP+ aligned with the Corporate Architecture maintained and evolved in DIGIT.01, in particular the links between a good (technical) architecture and security in the RSP+.

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**
- Bachelor degree of 3 years
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Good knowledge of SW development and operations processes
- Good technical writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work in a proactive and independent manner, with a focus on priorities, communication and decision-making capacities
- Good organization, coordination and planning skills -with a high degree of drive and desire to empower ICT change and evolution
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to audiences ranging from senior management to technology specialists
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to understand, speak and write English C1, French B2 will be an advantage
**SPECIFIC EXPERTISE**
Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:
At least 3 years experience with:
- ISO 27000 family of standards or equivalent security standards implementation and ITSRM
- IT Security Risk Management Methodology
- IT Security Compliance Management
- Drafting security plans**Important**
