**Your role & work environment****:
As an Investment Specialist, you will be in charge of the reporting and the commercial support of the ING flagship funds. You will be part of the team that manages the key ING flagship funds specially designed to answer our client needs. Your team is part of the ING BE Investment Office, lead by the Chief Investment Officer.

The Investment Office (IO) creates a coherent global vision on the economic and financial environment and evaluates market risks and opportunities, creating an investment strategy that supports ING Belgium across all segments. In line with risk management and based on client profiles, the IO defines an optimal asset allocation for the flagship funds.

The ING BE Investment Office is part of a larger BENELUX Investment Office consisting of 50 specialists based in Brussels (21), Amsterdam and Luxemburg.

**Your key responsibilities**:
Being an investment specialist
- You follow the financial markets and their developments
- You are part of the fund management team (10) as well as the team in charge of the tactical asset allocation
- Your main task is to provide a clear reporting towards bankers and clients on the ING flagship funds (newsletters, activity reports, markets comments, ). You will be (co-)responsible for the consistent communication style of the Investment Office, within the framework of the ING brand identity
- You will use your investment and financial market expertise to develop relevant content, used for various communication channels
- Based on your specialist knowledge, you participate in the development of new communication formats through working groups on investment communication with the relevant departments and channels within ING.
- You will give live presentation to clients and/or bankers on the flagship funds (or through video)
- You will be able to deal with Requests for Proposal (RFP)
- You will have a lot of freedom to take initiatives, which is also expected of you.
- You will work in close cooperation with all internal & external stakeholders: our colleagues from the Investment Office NL (based in Amsterdam), ISIM, the Management company of ING Group based in Luxembourg, Tribe Investments, the commercial segments, compliance,
- You will be an ambassador of the Investment Office and of the investment franchise of ING BE

As Product Specialist, you will also need:

- Preferably a Master degree in Finances or Economics and/or equivalent through experience;
- You have good knowledge and experience in Investments (mutual funds & sicavs, markets),
- You are driven by Operational Excellence and customer focused
- Great communication skills
- A good knowledge of English, Dutch and French
- A good knowledge of Information Data providers, proficient in Microsoft suite
- Excellent organization and coordination skills: you assure that things go smoothly and “First Time Right”;
- You love collaborating with different people (team work & cooperation) but are also able to function autonomously.
- You take initiative and make things happen thanks to your problem solving skills & ‘can-do’ attitude, quickly & accurately.
