**QC Network Strategy Manager**:
**Job purpose**
- Ensure aligned investment/recapitalization strategies across the QC labs network. All of it is aimed to increase compliance, modernize QC labs, and create value (improving productivity, efficiency, and reducing the overall quality control costs) in alignment with the Quality Vision/ Ambition.

**In this role you will **
- Keep updated the QC Network design principles, vision, and mid-/long-term strategic plans in alignment with GSK Quality Ambition, manufacturing network strategy, QC of the Future and external environment.
- Collect and structure the data needed to assess and adjust QC lab strategies, building PIP proposal that encompass value creation, accurate ROI and payback period.
- Prepare and review capital investment plans in the QC network (including recapitalization) in the 3+ years horizon, participate to bottom-up CAPEX investment exercise.
- Drive and facilitate the network synergies to centralize and optimize investment, anticipate ant prepare execution on deployment.
- Collect and structure the full picture of QC Network investment (Capacity, Innovation, Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), obsolescence) for the QC network.
- Collect and structure data to create scenario planning on major capital investments (e.g., product allocation, make/buy decision, QC of Future investments) in the 3+ years horizon.
- Develop the tools, cost model and financial metrics to evaluate QC costs and the financial aspects (ROI and payback periods) of the proposed strategies
- Support Global Quality Control organization to approach testing of new products being introduced and build lifecycle testing strategies for all products to ensure alignment between network and QC network strategies.
- Maintain the QC of the Future vision updated by embedding technology trends as well as capability development
- Maximize QC intelligence on competitors to anticipate strategy trends and provide in-depth analysis and benchmark of industry standards.

- Qualifications & Skills:_
- Master’s degree in Scientific/Engineering or Quality Discipline
- A previous broad experience in the pharmaceutical industry; ideally with vaccines production (regulations, supply, etc.):

- Substantial knowledge and previous experience on GMP, QA/QC, regulatory and legal requirements of pharmaceutical industry.
- Good understanding on how vaccines are developed, produced, and tested including the surrounding environment in which all this happens (regulatory, competitors, compliance, financial targets, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of QC testing/planning/scheduling and scenario planning.
- A previous experience in Project management and the ability to understand and link strategic challenges across multiple departments.
- Strategic thinking capability.
- Fluency in English, French is a huge plus (60% of interaction with Belgium QC site)
- Preferred Qualifications & Skills: _
- Experience in managing networks and implementing digital/electronic laboratory tools is a plus.
- Communication and influencing skills to be able to recognize/engage the different stakeholders in the organization and impact on the setting of GSK Vaccines QC Network strategy and execution
- Ability to change and adapt implementation plans accordingly, to simplify and effectively communicate proposals and plans
