**Functie**:
Voor de ondersteuning en verdere uitbouw van het distributienetwerk is onze klant op zoek naar een gedreven en ambitieuze **business development manager.**
Je bent het commercieel en technisch aanspreekpunt voor de bestaande klanten in de Benelux. Relatiebeheer is hierbij een belangrijk onderdeel van de functie. Een occasioneel klantenbezoek kan bijdragen tot het stimuleren van de distributeurs.
Het takenpakket kan samengevat worden als volgt;
- Informeren/adviseren van de klanten en helpen bij vragen gerelateerd aan de producten en toepassingen;
- Je staat in voor de verkoop van industriële ultrasoon reinigingsbaden en complementaire technieken;
- Je voert gerichte prospectie uit en je detecteert hierbij steeds nieuwe opportuniteiten;
- Onderhouden van het contact met klanten en prospects waarbij je de lopende projecten mee opvolgt;
- Ondersteunen van de verdere uitbouw van het distributienetwerk. Hiervoor doe je opzoekingswerk en breng je ideeën aan vanuit je dagelijkse activiteit;
- Je rapporteert aan de Managing Director en werkt nauw samen met de internal sales en buitenlandse leveranciers.

**Profiel en vaardigheden**:
Wat wordt er verwacht van een **Business Development manager;**
- Je hebt een bachelor diploma in een economische of technische richting;
- Je hebt affiniteit voor technische producten;
- Je hebt bij voorkeur minimum 3 jaar verkoopervaring in een B2B omgeving;
- Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands is een must en daarnaast heb je een goede kennis Engels (vooral mondeling om je uit te kunnen drukken naar klanten toe); Frans is een pluspunt;
- Je weet van aanpakken;
- Je bent communicatief en sterk, je bent namelijk het eerste aanspreekpunt voor klanten;
- Positief ingesteld, commercieel, en resultaatgericht zijn kenmerken die jou omschrijven

Onze klant is al meer dan 30 jaar actief in het produceren van milieuvriendelijke en innovatieve reinigingsapparaten. In België zijn ze al jaren gevestigd in de regio van Gent. Als je binnenkomt in het bedrijf snuif je het ondernemerschap en de familiale sfeer meteen op.
