**About the role**
- The regional director_ distributors_ _is_ responsible for sustaining and growing the business in his_/her_ dedicated territory for all Nipro Branded products_ with_in_ the distribut_o_r_s_ in Africa_. _The_ role will heavily focus on creating a framework for new business opportunities and further _gro_w our _business with the distributors_ _in the territory_._
- He/she _manage_s and has final responsibility for_ the territory’s _P&L_ _and will execute_ - _contribute_ -_develop the strategic plan for continuous growth and sustainable profit _for_ all Nipro branded products -_ whereby the role holder can count _on_ sales_ managers for the different _sub _territories_._._
- He/she will develop together with _the distributors_ _country _objectives_ and _support _and _guide_ them_ in achieving these goals_, _in order to_ expand _our _market share_ into the territory_. On the other hand, he_/she_ will help _the _s_ales_ managers in closing deals and ensure that the path of further development and growth is achieved by being in personal contact with key stakeholders (key distributors/healthcare authorities/ministries), whereby an overall customer satisfaction is being _attained_ and maintained._

**What you will do**

P&L responsibility (15%)
- Monitor and control the &L over the region and for all Nipro branded products commercialised in the designated territory, vs the budget.
- Define corrective actions to meet the identified targets with the distributors
- Provide periodically an accurate management report concerning business performance of the territory and with the distributors
- Preparation of annual territory budget

Team coaching and communication
- Coach and guide the team (3 people)
- Define objectives and participate in assessments/reviews

Business development (35%)
- Supporting of business development activities in the territory with the distributors
- Prepare sales plans and actions in collaboration with the category manager and/or distributor
- Identify and develop areas of improvement and business interest
- Increase the marketshare and further develop and sustain the growth with our distributors.

Strategic development (20%)
- Prepare and execute strategic plan for his territory for the Nipro branded products in order to grow sales increase our market share and sustain profitability
- Participate to the strategic positioning of the product category in the country in collaboration with category manager

Admin (15%)
- Follow up processes between distributors and the HQ (logistics, financial, quality, registrations, marketing) and intervene and reflect on solutions if bottlenecks would appear.

Projects (5%)
- Participate and contribute to company overarching projects (e.g. SAP, CRM, etc)
- Support and integration of targeted M&A’s

**What you will need**
- Strong sales experience in the medical device sector
- Strong sales experience on African markets
- People management experience
- Ideally a degree in international trade, or finance, or business management
- Ability to read a P&L and to propose development
- Hunter mentality in sales
- Proven track record of business development
- Fluent in English and in French
