Your role as...
In the role of Business Development Manager, you are an important colleague within the Datacenter team and are an active part of the Advanced Solutions Value strategy of Ingram Micro. This team consists of eleven closely collaborating colleagues who maintain relationships with our vendors and resellers. We hope you bring some energy to the team, and to all your clients that you will visit either in our office or theirs
Your expertise lies in...
You are the point of contact for the SBP reseller channel regarding the HPE portfolio. You prioritize your prospects, visiting them and accommodating meetings in our office also. You actively prospect new customers, position the appropriate HPE solution, handle reseller requests and draw up customized offers, this in cooperation with other teams within Ingram Micro.- Focusing on achieving the vendor budget and your targets, together with your colleagues at Datacenter.- Taking responsibility for the revenue and margin on your assigned portfolio.- Identifying which resellers have the most potential in cooperation with HPE, mainly looking at growth opportunity.- Attract these leads/prospects, actively call them and personally follow up on them including visits and events.- Making forecasts, developing a business plan with a particular focus on new clients within the SME market.- Participate actively in HPE weekly forecast calls.- Enablement of HPE SBP partners on HPE Hybrid IT product portfolio.- Rolling out vendor programs aimed at developing the HPE Business.- Give targeted presentations to resellers and possibly end users, both physically and virtually.- Influence relationships and set them up for long term success with Ingram Micro.
You’re passionate about- You have experience in Sales/Account Management/Business (Development) Management in the IT sector- Experience in a similar role in the distribution or vendor industry.- A commercial attitude with a result-oriented focus.- Knowledge of server and storage portfolio or willingness to acquire the relevant technical knowledge in a short timeframe- Strong communication skills: written and verbal in English, Dutch and French.- Strong organizational and analyzing skills; excellent command in Excel.- Solution provider mindset.
Your experience includes...- 5+ years of experience in a similar technical function- Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a strong command of Dutch and/or French and English language.- Experience within the distribution and/or IT industry.
A plus:
- Familiarity with distribution channels and partner ecosystems.- Experience in working with resellers and other indirect sales channels.
