Degroof Petercam is in the preparation of an integration strategy with Indosuez Wealth Management.
Your position
You’ll assist in several type of tasks in function of needs: financial benchmarking with peers, updating of presentation material, preparation of strategic presentation for the management, support in the daily performance management for Private Banking and the preparation of documentation for integration purposes.
As a Business Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our dynamic banking environment. Your role involves providing vital support. This is not your typical internship; it's a chance to gain insights into the inner workings of a leading financial institution. You'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and teams, allowing you to build a well-rounded understanding of Private Banking.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the Performance Manager to understand and address critical business needs related to reporting and financial controls.
- Perform in-depth financial and data analysis of performance metrics, helping identify key insights and areas for improvement.
- Gain hands-on experience in PowerBI, working with DAX and PowerQuery to develop data-driven solutions and impactful visualizations.
- Engage in internal communication within our diverse teams, contributing to the flow of information and insights that drive our success.
- Financial benchmarking with peers, updating of presentation presentation material, preparation of strategic presentation for the management committee, support in the daily performance management for Private Banking and the preparation of documentation for integration purposes.
Contribute to the overall success of our Private Banking team by actively participating in projects and initiatives.
**Profile**:
- An interest in reporting, financial controls, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in or a keen desire to learn PowerBI, including skills in DAX and PowerQuery, to create impactful data visualizations and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Analytical skills and the ability to dive deep into financial performance metrics.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across various teams and contribute to internal communication efforts.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, ready to take on challenges in an evolving environment.
