**Over Precious Metals Refining**
In onze afdeling PMR ( Precious Metals Refining) produceren we oplossingen op basis van basis
- en edelmetalen. De sleutel tot ons succes is innovatie. We zoeken steeds naar nieuwe werkwijzen en nieuwe ideeën om metalen duurzaam te produceren en te recycleren. Stel je eens voor wat jij binnen zo’n uitdagende afdeling zou kunnen doen.

**Wat jij zal doen**
- Binnen het kader van het beleid en de strategie van de vestiging in Hoboken van Precious Metals Refining, neem je de verantwoordelijkheid voor het proces en de technologie (incl. onderhoud) van de Battery Smelter (BAS) om uitstekende key performance indicators van dit operationele proces te leveren
- Je leidt de dagelijkse activiteiten van de BAS samen met de Operations Manager en bent samen volledig verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse KPI's.
- Je controleert, grijpt in en past de sturingsparameters zo veel als nodig aan, als gevolg van de continu veranderende inputcondities.
- Je verzekert en vergroot de technische, metallurgische en chemische kennis van de gesofisticeerde processen om de prestatie-indicatoren van het BAS te verbeteren.
- Je leidt het communicatieproces met het productiepersoneel en met collega's van administratie, operaties, bemonstering en logistiek.
- Je helpt bij het verbeteren van de veiligheid, de milieuprocessen en het kwaliteitssysteem.
- Je controleert en stuurt de activiteiten op het vlak van opleiding, ontwikkeling en mentoring van bedienden en arbeiders.
- Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor de technische mogelijkheden van je apparatuur en verbetert de robuustheid ervan.
- Je verhoogt de beschikbaarheid van je installatie en mínimaliseert de onderhoudskosten.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de jaarlijkse shutdown.
- Je stelt technische en operationele verbeteringen voor, lanceert nieuwe investeringsaanvragen en start nieuwe apparatuur op.
- Je neemt de verantwoordelijkheid voor de fabrieksoperaties als Engineer on Duty, tot max 2 weken per jaar.

**Naar wie zijn we op zoek**
- Je behaalde een masterdiploma in werktuigbouwkunde, chemische technologie of metallurgie, of een PhD in chemie (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring).
- Je hebt meerdere jaren (5+) operationele, technologische en/of bedrijfservaring.
- Je hebt een allesomvattende benadering van mechanische, metallurgische of chemische kwesties.
- Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van engineering en technologische ontwikkelingen.
- Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
- Je bent vertrouwd met praktische eisen op het gebied van milieu, gezondheid en veiligheid.
- Je beheerst goede communicatieve vaardigheden: presentatie, luisterbereidheid, overtuigingskracht.
- Je bent een besluitvormer met een gedetailleerde aanpak en een effectieve probleemoplosser.
- Je blinkt uit als teamgenoot en bent zowel kwaliteits
- als klantgericht.
- Je synthetiseert snel gegevens en komt tot duidelijke conclusies.
- Je bent stressbestendig en resultaatgericht.
- Je bent een geboren people manager en een natuurlijke leider.
