**The role**
- Country HR Lead is responsible for delivering effective HR services to all Etex businesses within the Country to ensure the achievement of the Companies strategic ambition aligned to Safety mission, Leadership Principles and Company Values. The role holder is a proactive member of country Leadership Teams.
- Country HR Lead is required to lead the implementation of best-in-class strategies, policies, processes and systems to deliver professional HR, Talent and L&D service across all Business’s and ensuring alignment to Group initiatives, employee lifecycle calendars and applicable legislation. He/she builds and maintains positive labour and employee relations.
- The role holder will manage a team of HR Managers/Partners and experts/specialist HR role holders and be responsible for their development.**Key Accountabilities**
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the people strategy, In cooperation with the country leadership team partnering on upskilling and reskilling the workforce.
- Drive talent management activity with Group and the leadership team to ensure the business has appropriate talent to deliver results now and in future - this includes succession planning management and critical role identification.
- Support country BU’s and Functional heads to develop and embed the following:

- Organization design & Implementation of new organization structures
- Talent and Learning and development
- Employee engagement
- Culture and change management
- Best practice sharing
- Process improvement
- Clearly define the HR business partnering objectives and priorities, especially in support of how we build the organization of tomorrow.
- Lead and develop the HR team providing a wide-ranging HR service.
- As an integral member of the leadership team, responsible for supporting the smooth running of day-to-day business operations.
- Coaching Senior Leaders and creating a coaching culture at all levels of the business.
- Implement and drive a culture of performance management throughout the business.
- Provide support, guidance and direction in maintaining effective and positive employee relations.
- Implement training and development activities at the individual, team & country level across.
- Provide pragmatic and commercially focused HR solutions, employee relations. advice and a day-to-day operational HR service and administration that are legally. compliant, cost effective, consistent and supportive of core business goals.
- Authorises all payroll activities for the Country.
- Negotiates agreements with unions in collective bargaining negotiations.
- Negotiate agreements with the country or local WCs
- Accountable for the proactive and progressive management of Industrial Relations. Handles grievances at work.
- Acquisition & Divestiture - Participate in the due diligence process - Actively lead the integration process
- Champion the country process and practices harmonization
- Ensure harmonization of the country total reward practices among businesses within the country.
- Applies a good understanding of pay structures and systems when making pay decisions. Contributes to the Job Evaluation process using the Group preferred methodology
- Manage strategic recruitment efforts, ensuring that resourcing policies deliver business goals and key roles are efficiently appointed to drive growth and develop leadership capabilities.
- Is accountable for the union and collective bargaining agreement negotiations
- Participate in negotiating agreements within the country or local WCs
- Ensure the HR staff is knowledgeable about union contract compliance
- Advise management on contract negotiations and similar management-union relations

**Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in labour relations, business management or human resources is requiredMinimum 8 years Experience working as HR generalist
- HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Management/Leadership experience
- Microsoft Office including HR systems
- Employee Relations and Unions negotiations
- Labour law know
