**Job Summary**:
Under the responsibility of the MD France & BeLux, the Country Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our operations within Belgium and Luxembourg. Your primary responsibilities include developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and representing the company at local level.

**Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities**:
Sales
Propose a yearly budget (sales, margin, SG&A )
Establish the strategy and the action plans to reach the sales & profitability targets.
Actively partner with the Regional support functions (GC, Marketing, CI, Customer service,)
Orchestrate the collaboration with the other departments of the company (Finance, Logistic, Customer Service, Technical Department, HR, Service and rental department)
Set up targets and KPIs for his / her team, including budget targets.
Maintain and increase sales of Xylem products & services (all range of products & services)
Increase business opportunities (identify new routes to market, develop sales in different market segments, and develop the distribution network ) in line with company strategy.
**Monitoring his / her team's performance and efficiency (ex**: dashboard, KPIs, monthly sales targets )
Compiling and analyzing sales figures
Collecting customer feedback and market research
Keeping up to date with products and competitors
Proactively ensure that Xylem business is fully compliant.
Collaborate with product support team and provide them with necessary market information.
Set prices and other commercial conditions for the projects, customer segments or product groups in each country according to the goals and rules.
Ensure commercial DoA is properly deployed and implemented.

**Management**:
Lead, motivate, and manage a cross-functional team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment within a matrix organisation.
Provide guidance and support to department heads to achieve their respective goals.
Interact, influence with other leaders, outside of the country but having a direct responsibility of local teams to ensure seamless operations, interactions and foster efficiency.
Represent the company at local events and participate in industry forums.
Organize and structure his/her team to always seek for more efficiency.
Manage daily “personal admin” demands (presence sheet, vacations, business trips, expense reports )
Develop his staff to deliver a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Actively participate to the career development of his / her team (CPG, trainings, coaching, development plans )
Actively support HR initiatives
Actively identify and lead internal projects to develop the efficiency of the entire organization.
Identify & propose some initiatives to develop the business and to improve the efficiency of internal processes.
Represent the company during Watermark events by local communities
Compliance with Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct
Establish a positive & collaborative atmosphere in the company.

**Additional Responsibilities**:
Identity and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) project
Develop an EHS culture
Keep his team highly motivated

**Key Competencies**:
Be a self-starter with high motivation to achieve corporate and personal goals
Proactively engaged in the development of his job, his department, the company
Possess communication, presentation and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively service customer needs and achieve the sales company targeted
Maintain standards of conduct and compliance.

**Required Qualifications**:
Minimal education & experience, essential skills & abilities and required license/certification to perform this job.
Masters in Marketing, Sales, Business or Mechanical Engineer
**Languages**: Fluent English, Dutch and French. Any other languages appreciated
Fundamental knowledge of engineering principles
10 years minimum as Sales Manager in a B&B environment
Relevant experience in management.
