Overview:
For 2025 and onwards, PepsiCo has the ambition to make a step-up in shopfloor execution, driving the in-store conversion rate of our brands and further strengthening our brand equity. To drive and execute a successful Belgium shopper marketing calendar we are adding an additional FTE to the shopper marketing team, based in Zaventem.
The shopper marketing & channel activation manager ensures best in-class shopper programs for the Belgium market for our PepsiCo savoury and grains brands. You work in close collaboration with the shopper marketing team and drive the local execution of the Belgium field sales force shopper campaigns. Furthermore, you will be responsible for locking the Belgium point of view in Benelux shopper marketing projects through effective stakeholder management.
As the expert on the Belgium channels and retailers you lead the development and execution of tailormade initiatives for the Belgium market such as Belgium only national campaigns, exclusive shopfloor activations for our key customers, our fixed-selling equipment agenda, and the Away-from-home shopper agenda. You will lead the Retailer Media Networks agenda for Belgium, driving conversion through creating a strong retail media plan and closely evaluating results. You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional external and internal stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:
- Shopper marketing_
- Together with the Krakau commercial center creative support executes both field sales program as well as retailer tools for all BE campaigns and outings. Responsible to ensure the BE POV is integrated in all BNL shopper marketing campaigns through effective stakeholder management, striving for simplicity.
- Lead development and execution of all shopper marketing initiatives for the BE Away From Home channel
- Lead the development and execution of BE only shopfloor initiatives such as BE specific national shopper campaigns, exclusive shopfloor activations for key customers, fill-the-gap initiatives, co-packed display’s and the execution of our fixed-selling equipment agenda
- Work with locally relevant agencies and functions (commercialisation / legal / regulatory / demand planning/ Business Analytics/ perfect store/ finance / sales / marketing agencies) to ensure clear sign off.
- Management full BE shopper budget (financial processing, review and optimize).
- Retail media & Channel activation_
- Lead the BE retailer tool agenda, responsible for collaboration with retailer media parties, driving conversion through the right tools, evaluations driving Return Of Investment and negotiating contracts
Qualifications:
- Academic Degree, at least 3-4yrs experience, preferably experience in FMCG and or Sales/Marketing/Trade Marketing/ Shopper marketing/ Brand management
- Understanding of brand marketing dynamics
- Experience in agency management
- Experience in budget management
- Ability to translate insights into shopper marketing solutions
- Deep understanding of FMCG and the market landscape
- Languages: Dutch and English, French is a plus
- Pro-active
- Result driven and pragmatic (Simplify to Grow)
- Team Player inside and outside marketing.
- Ability to manage SR stakeholders in matrix organization / ability to take others with you
- Eye for detail
- Advanced in customer knowledge and (shopper) marketing skills
- Creative agency briefing skills
- High level of project management skills
