**Your new role...**:
Manage FP&A for Legacy Discovery Networks, in collaboration with the CoE in Warsaw. This position is a fixed term contract for a maternity cover.

**Your Role Accountabilities**:

- Responsibility to ensure that month end figures are correct and explain any discrepancies during the month end call to the EMEA CFO (for LDNI nets and D+/ESP in NL). Close collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Warsaw.
- Responsibility to ensure that forecasted figures represent actual expectations and explain any variances to prior forecasts to during the monthly call to the EMEA CFO (for LDNI nets and D+/ESP in NL). Close collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Warsaw.
- Monthly forecast meetings with sales directors (adsales and affiliates) to ensure tracking on budget and take corrective actions as soon as possible.
- Keep Risks & Opps up to date monthly.
- Provide to EMEA CFO a weekly trending of adsales revenues vs prior forecast.
- Preparation of business plans based on qualitative and quantitative data to ensure well-founded decision making.
- Together with the local management, set sales targets for the adsales and affiliate teams.
- Responsible for the elaboration and implementation of any costs savings, changes of strategies etc.
- Coordination between local responsible and Center of Excellence in Warsaw.
- Coordination and collaboration with local and central team during the annual budget process.
- Any Ad Hoc requests by the regional general manager or EMEA/Region CFO or other internal parties.
- Prepare/answer questionnaires from local authorities (ARCOM, dutch local authorities).

- Regional & global finance and accounting teams
- Local business teams (Affiliates, adsales, marketing, etc.)

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- MSc in Management or equivalent educational background
- 5+ year experience in FP&A
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to think strategically
- Able to multi-task and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced international environment
- Rigorous and accountable
- Important commitment to deadlines
- Ability to build good relationships with team members as well as business partners
- Abilities to communicate effectively and work jointly with other departments & offices
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Dynamic, flexible, and curious
- Proficient computer skills required in MS Excel and comfortable with information system
