The department “Segment, Channel & Servicing Strategy” (SCS²) defines the medium and long-term strategy of the business lines “Retail Banking”, “Affluent & Private Banking” and “Entreprises & Corporate Banking”.
The different teams within SCS² ensure that the entire organization maintains its focus and jointly pursues the common goal, which is to be the preferred partner of our customers at all important moments in their lives, both for their financial and non-financial needs.

Each team within SCS² develops, monitors and optimizes the strategy, each time for a specific scope:

- The **3** **Segment Strategy teams** define the strategy for specific customer segments (e.g. Retail Banking, Entreprises and Corporate Banking, ).
- The **Beyond Banking team** defines the strategy for the different Ecosystems that the bank focuses on (e.g. Living, Mobility).
- The **Transversal Strategy team** defines strategy for a number of transversal domains (e.g. Sustainability, Accessibility, Servicing Strategy, ).

Within each of these teams, our Business Strategists develop, monitor, optimize the strategy for the scope assigned to him/her.

Your future job
- You follow up on market trends (socio-demographic evolutions, technical evolutions, changes in the competitive landscape, ) and analyze their impact on our customers, company and employees.
- You formulate strategy and long-term objectives for the scope that is assigned to you. This scope can be a customer segment (e.g. Starting Entrepreneurs, Young adults, Private Banking customers), an Ecosystem (e.g. Mobility, Living,...), a or a transversal topic (e.g. Sustainability, Customer Servicing,...).
- You identify new opportunities that should help the bank to reach the defined long-term objectives (this can be new value propositions, service models, partnerships, ).
- You turn high-level opportunities into concrete/mature projects, with solid business cases.
- You monitor the realization of the long-term strategy, and report on it towards senior management. You adjust your strategy when necessary.
- You do all of this in very close collaboration with different departments across the bank (Sales, IT, ).
- You inspire employees throughout the bank regarding the strategy. You give them a view on where the bank is going, and you make them enthusiastic to help build the bank of tomorrow.

- You have experience in developing innovative solutions and formulating advice that serves as input for the bank’s strategy.
- You know how to turn high level ideas into concrete/mature projects. You are able to back your proposals with solid business cases, and you have experience in pitching proposals to senior management (e.g. Executive committee).
- You are able to learn quickly and you are an advocate for change and innovation.
- You actively build and maintain a professional network (internally and externally).
- You develop a strategic vision, based on comprehensive analytical skills.
- You show dynamism and entrepreneurship. You are committed and result oriented.
- You have good communication skills both written & verbal.
- You are proficient in Dutch and/or French and have a good level in English (written / oral).
- You have a collaborative attitude and you understand the stakeholder needs.
- Affinity/experience with the business domains for which we are looking for profiles is a plus.
