Permanent contract - Strategic Analyst for European Affairs - (M/F)
Naval Group is one of the largest international naval contractors. For over 400 years, we have constantly been pushing boundaries to build ships for the navies of the future. Our 17,000 employees are passionate about their work, pooling their unique expertise to imagine, design, create and maintain exceptional products and systems such as submarines, aircraft carriers and combat frigates.
Considering the recent and rapid growth of our Belgian subsidiary (which has been in business for four years and is set to reach 20 employees in the coming months), we are now focusing on cybersecurity, coastal area protection systems, and mine counter-measures.
In 2025, we will also be responsible for supplying and maintaining the replacement mine counter-measures system for the Belgian-Dutch program
Naval Group Belgium is looking to recruit a Strategic Analyst for European Affairs (M/F).
1/ Contribute to lobbying of NATO and European institutions: analyzing legislative texts currently being prepared, proposing amendments, etc.
2/ Monitor parliamentary debates and the latest news from NATO and European institutions
3/ Identify new business opportunities for the subsidiary and the Group through a range of European funding instruments, and within NATO
4/ Interact with industry associations and attend technical meetings within the framework of this role
5/ Play an active role in promoting European and NATO affairs within Naval Group
6/ Draft a monthly newsletter for publication within Naval Group

**Profile**:
A management school graduate or bearer of a university degree in literature or law.
Experience of working in an environment that calls for the ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions with ease.

- Discretion
An excellent level of English is essential for this position.
A second European language is a plus.
