Our client is a fast growing company active in the **energy sector**.
As **Contract Manager **you will be **responsible** for:
- Contractual Expertise: As Ancillary Services Contract Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in drawing up contracts governing the provision of ancillary services. Establish strong relationships between company
- and our valued service suppliers - producers, consumers, and independent aggregators - to promote renewable energy growth;
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with Product Owners to create synergy between various services and propose innovative approaches inspired by best practices in similar situations;
- Precision and Compliance: Ensure clear and consistent contracts, complying with relevant Belgian and European legal texts to avoid inaccuracies and confusion;
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal departments, including Customers, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs. Lead public consultations and seek CREG approval for contracts, aligning all stakeholders with shared objectives.
The required **profile** for the **Contract Manager **position:
- Academic Background: A university degree in law, empowering you with comprehensive legal expertise to navigate contractual complexities, or experience in a technical field for a comprehensive understanding of the electricity grid and energy sector;
- Industry Expertise: Three years' experience in the energy sector, with knowledge of balancing mechanisms and electricity markets, including renewable energies;
- Contractual Acumen: Three years' experience in compiling contracts and navigating legal aspects;
- Communication Skills: Articulate complex ideas precisely and negotiate persuasively;
- Multilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English and either Dutch or French, with proficiency in a third language;
- Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
