**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- Experience as technical lead/support in IaaS related projects from design to implementation to and stakeholder management;
- Experience in:

- Auditing service costs, providing detailed cost analysis with breakdowns and reports for management teams;
- IT Asset and Configuration management;
- Demonstrated at least 3 years of recent and relevant experience in:

- Project support for IaaS services' delivery and implementation;
- Designing of IaaS services;
- Enterprise Systems Management services, methods and tools;
- Enterprise service provisioning of infrastructure systems and standards;
- Modern information systems technology trends and commercial off-the-shelf products;
- Sound practical knowledge and experience of ITIL and possessing ITIL certification;
- Sound practical experience and/or good understanding of showback/chargeback cost models and configuration management databases (CMDBs);
- Sound practical experience in generating Gantt charts, presentations;
- High-level of understanding and/or very good understanding in the DataCenter concept, technologies, operations and standards including servers, storage devices, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), virtualization-level disaster recovery and backup&restore of virtualized environment;
- An understanding of different layers of IT Services to include clients and VPN access using Smart Cards, printing, MS SharePoint portals and MS Exchange;
- Knowledge of Active Directory, MS Windows Server and Linux RedHat;
- Excellent language skills (English) for drafting documentations.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in:

- Pricing project CAPEX and OPEX costs;
- Working in a service provisioning organization;
- Experience in and knowledge of VMware virtualization, Private Cloud, Datacenter;
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
- Knowledge of:

- IT Architecture and design;
- Design/architecture tools and methodologies;
- NATO responsibilities and organization;
- Formal project management qualification, such as PMP or PRINCE2.

**Duties/role**:

- Providing direct support, contributing, developing, assisting Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Service Area Owner (SAO) and all IaaS Service Delivery Managers for service and project management on aspects related to the entire lifecycle, service delivery, service costs, various programs and projects service implementation, maintenance and documentation including statement of work (SOW);
- Participating activities in the areas of implementation, taking over, operation and integration of IaaS services;
- Analysing and implementing user requirements;
- Maintaining the infrastructure hardware and implementing changes through following Change Management process;
- Identifying operational problems and contributing to their resolution;
- Synchronizing resources that support the service including resources;
- Providing:

- Advises and support the IaaS SAO and SDMs on aspects related to the entire lifecycle of capabilities, services, projects;
- Detailed cost analysis, including breakdowns of project costs, service cost audits;
- Reports, briefings, position papers and presentations to senior management during all phases of the project development and implementation;
- Contributing in maintaining close and coordinated operating ties with IaaS management to ensure a harmonized effort and synchronized effect for all activities;
- Monitoring the compliance with SLAs carefully;
- Supporting the development of processes, procedures (SOP) and Standard Operation Instructions (SOIs) for IaaS services, defining in detail tasks that must be performed by all roles identified as needed for the delivery of their service in accordance with their service delivery model and directly contributes to sharing and distributing information and knowledge within the office and with NATO Enterprise stakeholders, using IKM tools;
- Developing, supporting, reviewing, analysing, and coordinating contract specifications, SOW's, maintenance documentation;
- Planning and organising the meetings, preparing and distributing agendas, sharing the documents and presentations with the stakeholders across the NATO Enterprise, and drafting the records of the meetings;
- Assisting the NISC IaaS Management to plan, prepare and host formal and informal visits, meetings and conferences with representatives of military, civilian and industrial organizations;
- Performing ad hoc tasks related to CES SL's responsibilities;
- Performing other duties as may be required.
- Working on scheduled maintenances, service-affecting activities and contingency work outside of regular business hours or being on-call after working hours on weekends;
- Travelling and working in SHAPE/Mons, HQ Brussels, The Hague/Netherlands or any other datacenters if/when
