**Department Info**:
The Finance Business Partnering team has a strategic role in the organisation. Our team supports the full organisation in driving financial profitability forward and helping the organisation achieving financial objectives. This by focusing and conducting in-depth analysis of financial performance, trends, macro-economic and competitors situation, KPI's on our current financial situation and identifying areas of improvement from business perspective as well as from the perspective of internal processes and tools.

**Job Summary**:
Leads Finance Business partnering North-West region in line with the strategic guidelines set by Senior Leadership Team and BUs management.
In this strategic role you partner closely with senior business managers by bringing financial advice to support decision making and ensure sustainable and profitable growth. Added value activities for the business and the company

You lead and coach a team of 3 Finance Business Partners. Together with your team, you represent the finance role in the North-Western markets within Europe and you coordinates with other TE finance departments to ensure efficiencies as primary finance contact person.
Drives the strategic finance business partnering role by delivering tools, analytics, insights and financial advice to country stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:
In your role, you collaborate with the FBP Director and your peers to create a comprehensive financial strategy for various cycles (e.g., closing, consolidation, rolling forecast, budget, and LRP). This strategy should align with your job's scope and support the overall EMEA process.

You serve as a **strategic business partner**, focusing on driving medium
- and long-term strategies. Your responsibilities include developing financial reports that meet business needs and comply with financial regulations, ensuring consistency with other regional FBP teams. You also establish analysis methodologies, KPI dashboards, and performance metrics to guide and facilitate business decisions, regularly evaluating the metrics to be monitored and ensuring adaptive reporting and budgeting.
Your role involves providing comprehensive financial support for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of all Business Units (BUs) and support functions within Cluster Northwest. You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, processes, and business support, collaborating with other FBP team members and the Consolidation and Analytics team for implementation.
You cultivate strong relationships and close collaboration within the EMEA FBP team, BU FBP, and other finance and business stakeholders. Additionally, you take on the responsibility of controlling various activities, including closing, budgeting, and forecasting within your designated area. Effective communication with stakeholders, along with follow-up and support as needed, is an essential part of your role.
In executing strategic business plans, you evaluate investments and projects, ensuring ongoing assessment of financial performance post-implementation.

In terms of **analysis functions**, you are responsible for maintaining data accuracy and reliability, implementing corrective actions when necessary. You conduct in-depth analyses of monthly/quarterly financial statements to inform decision-making, identify risks, and enforce corrective measures when required. You also facilitate process improvements to enhance efficiency within your function and consider external data's impact on Terumo's business, such as competition and macroeconomics. You identify trends, assess economic influences, and gauge the competition's impact on business activities while ensuring compliance with Terumo's policies.

Regarding **process management**, you support critical finance processes (budgeting, forecasting, actuals), covering all P&L lines. Your role includes ensuring the implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of key control indicators, performance metrics, and decision-making tools to steer branch P/L performance. You work on proposals and align with peers, taking responsibility for controlling closing activities in the North-West region. Compliance with accounting rules and close collaboration with the accounting department is vital in this regard. You consistently strive for streamlined processes and emphasize continuous improvement.
