**Personal assistant to CEO**

Fluyo is looking for a hard working, bright individual to join and assist the CEO with both company and personal duties.

Fluyo is a new language learning app startup that is focused on making language learning as fun as possible. We are essentially a video game to learn languages mixed with the most effective language teaching on the market.

We are a remote company. However, our CEO is based in Brussels and would need someone who is able to commute to his residence 2-3 times a week. In addition to helping with company based responsibilities, you’d be expected to help him with the personal responsibilities listed below.

The ultimate goal is to remove time consuming tasks from his personal and professional life, help optimize his productivity and assist him with tasks he’s unable to perform due to his disability makes him wheelchair bound.

**Salary**: 2000-3000 euros per month

This is a flexible position with hybrid work model. You’d be expected to show up in person around 3 times a week, however for the rest of the week you’d normally be able to work remotely.

The position is also flexible in terms of working hours - can be full time (38+ hours) or part time (25-30 hours). Can negotiate.

**What you will be responsible for**:
**Company**
- Onboarding new employees assistance
- Payroll assistance (helping CEO ensure everyone is paid on time through our provider)
- Meeting documentation and following up on action items
- Improving general company documentation (Company Wiki)

**Personal**
- Booking travel and outings
- Researching items to buy
- Helping around the house with small tasks CEO's disability prevents him from doing
- Managing household employees / arranging maintenance
- Traveling with CEO locally and occasionally internationally (within Europe, fully paid)
- Etc.

**What is required**:

- High level of intelligence and the ability to solve nearly any problem or task presented with mínimal oversight
- Solid grasp of English and proficiency in one or more other languages commonly spoken in Belgium (French, Dutch, German)
- Hard working with a strong work ethic and a kind personality
- Ability to travel internationally (within Europe a few times a year)

**What is ideal**:

- Having your own car for transportation or pick up requests
- Having a passion for language learning, gaming or ideally both
- 2-3+ years of experience in an assistance role
- Having an additional skill on top of assistance experience (i.e. Graphic design, Accounting, Healthcare experience, etc.)

**What makes this job unique?**

In addition to being hybrid / partially remote, this job has many unique and captivating characteristics.

The main one is being able to work aside, learn from and learn to think like our CEO. This role is purely assistance however if you excel in it a few years down the line it has the potential for you to end up heading a part of our organization.

Lastly, you’ll be learning the ins and outs of the our company, and shadowing our CEO (you'll be in almost every meeting as our CEO) so you’ll be able to learn from high level meetings and be coached by members of our Board of Advisors.
