Syngenia is a company specialized in engineering consultancy and recruitment. The company was founded in 2014 to meet the staffing needs of projects for parent groups (Tractebel and ENGIE group). Today, Syngenia's commercial activity is mainly based on selling its services within the parent groups. As a result, Syngenia has developed extensive expertise within the group and has captured the internal market (being the number one supplier of ENGIE group in Belgium).

Since 2021, Syngenia aims to expand beyond the ENGIE group and provide its expertise to the external market. At this stage, several contracts have been signed with other large groups and companies.

To support this commercial and marketing development, Syngenia is seeking to hire business and sale representives

To ensure continuous growth, Syngenia is looking for a Business Developer to strengthen our operations team.
Mission

At Syngenia, The role of BD&S is to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability within converted accounts.

The BD&S is accountable of following tasks:

- Conducting research on industry trends and market conditions to stay updated.
- Finding and capitalizing on potential new business opportunities to increase Syngenia's business.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with prospective clients and promoting Syngenia's services.
- Contacting potential clients and pitching Syngenia's services.
- Creating and presenting proposals to clients
- Negotiating contracts with clients and successfully closing deals.
- Ensuring vertical integration/development within converted accounts by implementing sales and revenue enhancement strategies.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients through follow-up and ongoing support.
- Identifying potential job openings and collaborating with recruitment consultants to achieve successful job placements and client satisfaction.
- Negotiating pricing and fees with clients.
- Monitoring the commercial aspects of Syngenia consultants' missions within your account. This includes overseeing pricing, purchase orders, and indexations, as well as contract-related matters.

Profile
- You have a Bachelor or Master's degree in economics, business management, engineering, etc.
- You have 3 years of working experience and at least 1 relevant experience as business developer and/or sales
- You have strong communication and negotiation skills.
- You are solution oriented and proactive
- You have strong interpersonal skills and you are able to work well with other people, including in teams or groups, formally and informally
- You are bilingual in French or Dutch and English. The knowledge of the second national language is an asset.
