Satellic is a Belgian company located in Diegem. We were appointed in July 2014 by the three Belgian Regions to collect on their behalf the toll from Heavy Goods Vehicles of over
3.5 tonnes and N1 BC vehicles. In less than two years, we have designed, built, financed, and made operational a complete kilometer charging system. We are currently operating and managing the system.
As a Belgian joint venture between T-Systems and Strabag, we have vast experience in all aspects of the deployment of an intelligent kilometer charging system. Having fully built up the
Belgian system makes us the undisputed technological leader in this field. We work under the supervision of Viapass.
Currently, Satellic is looking for a junior Controller for the Finance Department.
Within Satellic, the finance department covers a wide range of activities from basic bookkeeping to providing financial information to assist managers in making strategic decisions. For the financial department, we are looking for a junior Controller (business and accounting)
Skills and competences
Must have
You have at least one experience in a controlling function or financial department and you have a strong analytical and conceptual mind.
You need to have
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of SAP is or AFAS is a +
- Knowledge of BE-GAAP / IFRS
- Fluent knowledge of Dutch or French
- Advanced knowledge of English
- Completed degree in economics (Bachelor or Master)
What your job will look like
- You are responsible for proactive controlling und support of local management. You will also support the local accounting and the procurement department. You will
- Create or find controlling tools fort the cash from the Satellomats
- Handle and investigate the unassigned payments and money came back
- produce budget and forecast planning
- perform and document the ICS controls required by the group
- prepare the monthly/quarterly revenue calculation
- support our CS depart. To handle the financial cases received from our Road users
- prepare the daily disbursement to the Regions and the supplier payments
