The Yanmar Compact Equipment team is looking for its future collaborator to join its team as a “Global Compensation, Benefits & People Analytics Leader”
As our Global Compensation, Benefits & People Analytics Leader you will drive the design, implementation, and alignment of compensation and benefits programs crucial for elevating our employee experience as well as attracting and retaining talent across our four regions (Japan, North America, EMEA and AOLA).
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our rewards structures align with market standards, support our development-focused culture as well as our ambition to become an employer of choice in the compact equipment business. Furthermore, you will develop and implement people analytics standards on a global level supporting the company’s business objectives and enabling our People & Culture function to take informed, fact-based decisions.
You will take the lead in global strategic projects, e.g. HRIS implementation, with a focus on identifying and realizing digitalization potentials. Reporting directly into our Global Chief People & Culture Officer.

Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA is a leading player in the design, manufacture and distribution of state-of-the-art compact worksite machinery, with two production sites in Europe: Crailsheim in Germany and Saint-Dizier in France.
Tasks
**Compensation & Benefits**:
- Provide analysis and assessment of all existing compensation and benefits structures across our four regions (Japan, North America, EMEA and AOLA) ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and region-specific salary appraisal systems
- Develop and execute forward-thinking compensation and benefits strategies with a focus on identifying alignment potential across regions and for specific employee groups
- Analyze market insights and industry trends, conduct in-depth salary benchmarking, and provide strategic direction with global job gradings and salary ranges guaranteeing consistency across titles and roles as well as salary equity
- Innovate and implement progressive performance-based incentives, bonus schemes, incentives for leadership and executive teams, and specialized benefits plans depending on regional requirements
- Collaborate with Global Finance in evaluating and determining the personnel cost budget, as well as the budget for annual salary appraisal (merit increase)
- Responsible for the annual salary appraisal round for all employees with global roles
**People Analytics**:
- Develop and implement a People & Culture data analytics strategy leveraging insights to optimize processes, drive strategic decision-making and support leadership decisions
- Define and implement data analytics standards and documentation of key figures and processes
for a global scale and across all P&C Teams
- Design a global P&C dashboard and reports to monitor key performance indicators and inform strategic decisions to g., talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning
- Assess current processes and tools, innovate enhancements, and identify and realize digitalization potentials
- Provide training and support to regional P&C teams on data literacy and analytics tools
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field,
Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
- 5+ years of relevant compensation & benefits related knowledge and experience across multiple countries and/or regions
- Track record in successful project management on an international or global level
- Demonstrated leadership experience and cross-cultural competency in engaging diverse teams, ability to lead laterally in a functional role
- Strong strategic outlook with intellectual curiosity, analytical working style, and adaptability in ambiguous situations
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with proven ability to articulate complex analyses clearly and concisely to leadership and employees
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, other)
- Experience in HRIS implementation projects a plus
- Fluent English, any additional languages a plus (French, German, Japanese in particular)
