**First Line Sales Manager Primary Care - Respiratory**

We are looking for a First Line Sales Manager Primary Care who is going to be responsible for a team of Primary Care Sales Representatives in Brussels, Wallonia & Luxembourg, aiming to optimize care for COPD patients. In addition, you will be responsible for optimizing capability development (training programs) for our sales representatives active in the respiratory therapeutic area.

**Responsibilities**:
**Business leader for multiple brands in primary care**
- Active contribution to strategy development and strategic decision making, active role in brand strategy and brand team
- Has a long-term vision and acts upon it
- Translating and implementing national strategy into regional sales plan for assigned product/product portfolio
- Excellent territory management for regional territories. Maximizing business potential, monitoring progress, and anticipating issues, pro-actively initiating acceleration plans where needed
- Aligning stakeholders with strategy plans
- Managing Key External Expert (KEE) relationships and provide customer insights to brand team; provide marketing teams with insights ‘from the field’
- Pro-activeness and innovativeness in driving local action plan in alignment with the cross-functional Brand Team
- Pro-activeness in building up scientific knowledge at own and rep level to conduct scientific discussions

**People Management & capability building**
- Leading Sales Rep team in Primary Care to meet or exceed established sales forecasts and call execution goals
- Ensuring effective implementation of sales strategy through coaching of sales reps
- Working with individual sales reps to establish appropriate and challenging goals for each territory
- Developing sales reps to enhance skills and acquire new capabilities. Ensuring effective individual development plans are in place, short and long term
- Being a point of contact within the respiratory team to identify the training needs of all sales reps and subsequently building a comprehensive training plan
- Driving accountability at Sales Representative level
- Identifying talents and actively managing performance

**Reporting & Compliance**
- Ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.

**Essential**:

- Master’s degree
- Driver’s license
- Fluent French and strong English
- Sales experience in primary care and/or specialty care
- Entrepreneurial & collaborative mindset
- Strong customer orientation
- Collaborative and effective two-way communication
- Experience in coaching/leadership
- Sales and results oriented mindset
- Experience within pulmonology is a plus
