We are currently looking for a Senior HR Generalist (M/F/d) to join our team

Tasks

**Position summary**:
Provide HR support for the HBT Business in Belgium while partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders to broker HR services. You will actively engage in Talent Acquisition, organizational development and talent management. You will utilize your HR functional expertise to align critical human resources principles with business objectives. Increase the overall performance of the organization by creating strong interactive partnerships with client groups. Build a workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing and retaining top talents. Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Human Resources organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with business leader/s to support business strategies
- Strategic Plan (STRAP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Management Resource Review (MRR).
- Translate business goals to HR agenda and work with stakeholders to achieve them.
- Facilitate alignment of organizational structure, processes, systems, people and culture with key business priorities.
- Act as a trusted communication partner for two-way information flow between leaders and their team
- Coach in a way that enables continuous capability improvement in the client group and develop managers’ confidence in handling HR related issues
- Provide transition and integration support including assessment and development of organizational plans and forecasts.
- Ensure robust succession planning through Management Resource Review (MRR).
- Drive talent retention strategies, workforce planning and hiring. Drive continuous improvement of the effectiveness of Honeywell Performance and Development (HPD).
- Assist management in making difficult performance related decisions.
- Lead the change management’s actions to support the Company Vision.
- During business transformation, support in defining actions plan and act as a facilitator (communication ).
- Lead Mutual Agreement negotiations, exits process, information/consultation process during social plan.
- Ensure that the assigned projects are correctly managed using HR Operating System (HROS) principles, integrated tool set and project management methodologies.
- Accurately report the status (resources, technical issues, customer satisfaction) of assigned projects on all key metrics.
- Execute detailed plans to ensure that risks are mitigated and opportunities are realized.
- Timely reporting on potential risks in projects delivery and corrective actions.
- Establish effective employee relationships at all levels based on trust, experience and credibility by providing HR consultation, advice and counsel.
- Manage all disciplinary and compliance issues (work permits, investigations for staff representatives, contract terminations, etc.)
- Lead the social representation agenda in partnership with the regional and country Employee Relations Leader (mandatory meetings, negotiations, elections, etc.).
- Support electoral processes when required with logistics, partnership with legal team and external vendors.
- Analyze and provide direction regarding the implementation of key company initiatives through information sharing, consultation, and codetermination activities.
- Prepare information/consultation documentation to support discussion with social partners.
- Connect with key partners before, during, and after social partner negotiations, to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
- Support local leaders with social partners’ queries/demands.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as HR business partner ideally 5-10 years’ experience as HR.
- Technical HR knowledge across a broad generalist scope including BE legislation, training and development, performance management and the ability to build strong relationships in a complex environment.
- Strong social relations & LER skills & success in dealing with Work Council consultation processes.
- Fluent in English + Dutch & French.
