To support us in our growing journey, we seek a talented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting of all company transactions.
- Develop and uphold accounting policies, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition, cost allocation, and other financial principles.
- Calculate and create inter-company and transfer pricing invoices.
- Assist in producing monthly management accounts and financial reports for corporate entities and the consolidated group within tight deadlines.
- Support the production of the financial reporting packs for the Leadership team and Board of Directors.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Administer and enforce company expense policies
- Oversee bonus and commission calculations.
- Review customer contracts in coordination with the Legal team and support contract execution by Project Managers.
- Create customer invoices, including licenses and professional fees, and monitor customer contract status.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate timesheet submissions.
- Assist credit control and optimize cash collection to maintain optimal debtor/supplier days.
- Provide support during annual financial audits and ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Prepare necessary financial statements, disclosures, and documents for global audits and statutory accounts.
- Support tax compliance across all jurisdictions the company operates in, including transfer pricing policies and sales tax compliance.
- Collaborate in the review and creation of company policies related to employees, expenses, governance, and authority delegation.
- Cultivate strong internal relationships, providing problem-solving solutions and collaborating with other finance functions.
**QUALIFICATION**:
- 5+ years of post-qualified experience as a finance professional, ideally with SAAS & commercial finance exposure.
- Proficiency in IFRS reporting and experience in a global environment with European and US-based businesses.
- Fluent in French and English, with strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Demonstrated experience supporting commercial/business teams in decision-making analysis.
- Strong integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERPs and related products.
