**Werken bij Delta Light?**
Delta Light®, dat in 1989 door zaakvoerder en ontwerper Paul Ameloot werd opgericht, is vandaag uitgegroeid tot marktleider en trendsetter in architecturale verlichting. De toekomst van Delta Light® is verzekerd nu Peter en Jan Ameloot samen met hun vader de leiding van het bedrijf waarnemen. Hun komst heeft het team extra dynamiek en ambitie gegeven.
Delta Light geniet een ijzersterke reputatie als producent van architecturale verlichting en is intussen uitgegroeid tot een trendsetter op het gebied van verlichtingsconcepten voor residentiële, commerciële en professionele omgevingen. Of het nu gaat om winkels, kantoren, openbare gebouwen, toonzalen, horeca of groenprojecten, Delta Light heeft de producten, de ervaring en de kennis in huis die aansluiten bij de functionele en esthetische behoeften van jouw projecten.
Eigen design, O&O, kwaliteitscontroles, tests en productie liggen aan de basis van de groei die Delta Light de afgelopen jaren heeft doorgemaakt. Van ontwerpen, ontwikkelen, het maken van prototypes tot en met het produceren, verpakken en opslaan: het gebeurt allemaal in het Belgische hoofkantoor van Delta Light.
**Functiebeschrijving**
- Ontwikkelen van producten vanaf het eerste concept tot het eindproduct in de verpakking
- Beheren van de volledige productontwikkelingscyclus
- Tekenwerk voor diverse productietechnologieën zoals plaatwerk, draai
- en freeswerk, extrusie, injectie en optische componenten en voor verschillende materialen
- Samenwerken met verschillende teams zoals design/ product management/ optical engineering/ thermal en IP-testing/ electronics
- Opzetten van regelmatige vergaderingen om de voortgang van het ontwikkelingsproces te bespreken en functionaliteiten af te stemmen met collega’s
- Gebruikmaken van de eigen prototyping afdeling om ideeën en ontwerpen snel te testen en te verfijnen
- Onderzoeken en toepassen van duurzame materialen, LEDs en allerhande sensoren in productontwerpen
- Bezoeken van leveranciers en beurzen om nieuwe technologieën, materialen en trends te ontdekken + toe te passen.
**Profiel**
- Bachelor
- of masterdiploma in Mechanical & Elektrical engineering, industriële vormgeving of een gerelateerd vakgebied
- Sterke technische, creatieve duizendpoot met kennis van verlichting technologieën, materialen en productieprocessen
- Aantoonbare ervaring in productontwikkeling binnen de verlichtingsindustrie is een pluspunt
- Zelfstandig, probleemoplossend en analytisch vermogen
- Een dynamische omgeving spreekt je aan, waarbij je staat te springen om meerdere projecten tegelijkertijd te beheren
- Ervaring met CAD-software en/of andere relevante ontwerptools
- Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels.
