Missie van de functie:
Heb je graag een helikopterview op de processen binnen een verzekeringsmaatschappij? Wil je ze begrijpen en er samen met de process owners voor zorgen dat risico's in deze processen worden beheerst? Of wil je ze leren kennen? Dan is deze functie zeker iets voor jou.
Je maakt deel uit van het kwalitatieve risks team van ERGO Insurance N.V. Je werkt aan het verbeteren en het ontwikkelen van het Risk Management Framework in lijn met de vereisten binnen de onderneming, ERGO Insurance N.V., alsook de toepasselijke Belgische regelgeving (Solvency 2 Framework). De nadruk wordt gelegd op het ontwikkelen en het onderhouden van Risk Governance & Reporting gerelateerde onderwerpen.
Hierbij werk je nauw samen met de andere collega's in risicobeheer, in andere departementen en op ERGO Group niveau.
Verantwoordelijkheden en taken:
Hieronder tonen we je hoe de doelstellingen van de job zich vertalen in de verschillende taken die door het hele team worden uitgevoerd. Sommige van deze taken zullen deel uitmaken van jouw takenpakket en verplichtingen - afhankelijk van de taakverdeling binnen het team:
- Het team bijstaan bij de uitvoering, optimalisering en monitoring van het Risk Management Framework dat vereist is op grond van het interne policy framework en de toepasselijke regelgeving:
- Coördineren van de actualisering van het Quaterly Risk Dashboard en zorgen voor de rapportering aan het Management Committee en ERGO Group IRM;
- Helpen bij het sluiten of openen van interne en externe audits/regelgevingsbevindingen die aan Risk Management zijn toegewezen.
- Bijdragen tot de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van een degelijk kader voor het Operational Risk Framework (met inbegrip van, maar niet beperkt tot):
- Uitvoeren van de jaarlijkse Operational Risk Scenario Analysis;
- Coördineren van de bijwerking van de Operational Risk Event Loss Database en van de desbetreffende verslagen;
- Indien nodig ad hoc risicoanalyses/onderzoeken uitvoeren.
- Bijdragen tot de jaarlijkse evaluaties van het Internal Control System assessments (bv. Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSA's)) van ERGO Insurance N.V.;
- Bijdragen tot procescontroles en controleverbeteringen, met inbegrip van IT-processen;
- Bijdragen tot de documentatie van risicoprocessen;
- Implementeren en verbeteren van het beheerskader voor cyberbeveiliging en bedrijfscontinuïteit;
- Assistentie bij reglementaire rapportagetaken zoals ORSA, RSR, SFCR;
- Meewerken aan de herziening van Risk Management policies;
- Toezicht houden op de uitvoering van de processen voor gegevenskwaliteit in verband met de quarterly reporting.
Onder toezicht van de Head of Risk Governance & Reporting en/of andere deskundigen binnen het Risk Governance & Reporting team zal je job samenwerking op de werkplek vereisen met andere collega's binnen de controlefuncties, zoals Risk Management, Actuariaat, Interne audit en Compliance. Je zal ook contact hebben met eerstelijnsafdelingen en andere ondersteunende functies.
Afhankelijk van je anciënniteit speel je een leidende of ondersteunende rol, of voer je taken van uiteenlopende complexiteit uit.
Bijkomende vereisten (opleiding, vaardigheden):
Je hebt de volgende capaciteiten en kwalificaties:
- Een masterdiploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
- Een goede beheersing van het Engels (gesproken en geschreven) en bij voorkeur kennis van het Frans of het Nederlands;
- Eerdere werkervaring in een controle
- of soortgelijke omgeving (Risk Management, Audit, Compliance), bij voorkeur in de financiële-dienstensector, is een belangrijke troef;
- Communicatieve vaardigheden: opstelling van schriftelijke verslagen en veelvuldige mondelinge contacten met collega's en andere diensten;
- Het vermogen om verder te kijken dan de cijfers / de business te begrijpen / te zien hoe verschillende factoren samenhangen;
- Doorzettingsvermogen om dingen tot een goed einde te brengen (vaak zeer moeilijke opdrachten);
- Een sterk oog voor detail;
- Kennis van processen is een grote troef;
- Teamspeler, maar ook in staat om zelfstandig te werken om een taak tot een goed einde te brengen;
- Initiatief nemen en pro-actief handelen om dingen gedaan te krijgen;
- Goede kennis van MS office.
