**BUYER / PRODUCT DEVELOPER**

BELLITA is a distinctively elegant feminine Belgian brand, known for their casual-chic styles with remarkable combinations. Hence consumers can express their personality and self-confidence by wearing BELLITA.

Our target group are ladies from 30 and plus.

We are looking for a product developer to join the BELLITA team for our HQ in Overijse.

**Challenges**:

- Developing the monthly collections in line with the brand’s vision and target customers.
- Conducting trend research to identify emerging fashion trends, fabrics, and styles that could be incorporated into the collection.
- Selecting/developing styles, prints, fabrics and accessories ensuring the collection is cohesive, on-brand, within budget and meets the needs of the target market.
- Looking for supply resources
- Overseeing fittings and sample-making to ensure that designs are produced to the desired standard.
- Follow
- up of sampling and production deadlines
- Establish promotional materials, such as lookbooks and social media content, to promote the collection.
- Participate to the photo shoot sessions

Overall, our product developer plays a key role in the design and development of the collection, and must have a combination of creativity, technical skills, and business acumen to be successful.

**Skills & Experience**:

- You are a sourcer at heart when it comes to new fashion trends and qualities and know how to translate these trends into commercial collections
- You have a passion for fashion and you have several years of experience within the creative field
- You have experience with the production environment in the fashion industry
- You have a creative mind and strong commercial analytical skills.
- You are well organized and stress resilient
- You think out of the box and are open to fast changes and adjustments
- You are strong in communication and are a team player.
- You are fluent in Excel. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or equivalent is a plus.
- You like to travel (Italy)
- You speak French or Dutch and fluent English
