What you'll do
This mission relates to a cultural transformation project on both safety culture and safety leadership.
In 2020 they have opted for the "Safety Culture Ladder" (SCL) certification system to measure the safety maturity within the company, so that they can make the necessary adjustments to continuously improve. Their ambition is to further drive down the amount of accidents, by investing in their safety culture maturity.
In 2023, they will define, prepare and roll-out a sensibilisation campaign (Mindshift) related to
- How human (safety) behaviour really works: largely driven by intuitive routines
- The importance of an adequate training approach to change these routines
- The need for an adequate environment within the company: coherent with their safety system (which will also evolve), the evolution towards an open feedback culture (appreciative, improvement, corrective feedback) and the development of safety ownership.
Also in 2023, they will undertake all necessary preparations to define and detail their deployment plan:
- Develop and acquire the expertise on human (safety) behaviour (april)
- Defining the desired safety behaviours and competences from their Safety Leaders (may)
- Performing a training gap analysis (may-june)
- Developing a training and campaign strategy by end of September (july-aug-sept)
- Prepare the contents for the training & campaigns
- Embed and align with other ongoing and planned Safety projects
Who we're looking for
- Spoken languages**:NL & FR** (must), EN (nice to have)
- Proven expertise and experience in **safety culture programs/projects**:
- Proven expertise and experience in change, especially in cultural aspects
- Proven experience with cultural aspects like geographic disparity, different languages, different (sub)cultures
- Expertise and experience in Safety Culture Ladder
- Ability to provide the support as listed above
- Ability to capture all differences between departments, business units, communities, population and management Level
What you'll get
Expected Start date: 1/03/23
**Duration**: 9 months part-time (3 days a week), with possible extension.
**Localisation**: Brussels Centre
**permanent contract as a Consultant**:
- A salary in line with the market with competitive fringe benefits.
