**Position overview**:
Are you someone whose experienced and versatile in marketing and hungry to understand people, building awareness about how a product/service can satisfy their needs?
As a Global Marketing Manager you will drive the strategic planning for Mobility & Transportation market segment. Your daily tasks will involve identifying trends and assessing competitive landscape through market intelligence, identifying and prioritizing new growth opportunities both through developing business of existing product into new geographies, new customers and innovation. We will trust you to drive these opportunities from ideas to successful commercialization.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain segment plan for Automotive Coatings with focus on growth and in particular in emerging regions and new technologies
- Lead efforts to gather unmet needs and growth opportunities globally for the Mobility and Transportation segment
- Liaise with technical teams and business teams to deliver marketing support
- Proactive identification of trends with respect to regulation and process changes in Automotive Coatings
- Develop business cases including validated product profiles, value proposition, and sales potential for effective prioritization of new project opportunities
- Lead innovation process and chair Portfolio Review Meetings (PRM) for Automotive Coatings Innovation Pipeline
- Responsible for coordinating development, maintenance, and communication with actionable reports on competitive landscape for resins used in Automotive Coatings
- Develop business opportunities with battery companies
**Required skills and experience**:
- Around 8 years of experience preferably in marketing, business or technical roles with experience in strategic marketing or business development
- Experience in Automotive industry is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience of business development and cross-functional collaborations is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, problem solving and critical thinking
- Strategic vision and ability to articulate a (market) plan
- Be able to think and develop from 0 to 1, with action oriented mindset
- Very good verbal and written/presentation communication skills
**Qualifications**:
- Graduate Degree preferably with Chemistry / Chemical Engineering background
- A Business Degree, i.e. MBA, is preferred
- Fluent in English
