**Vacancy: Executive/Finance Officer at ECSA**

The European Composer and Songwriter Alliance (ECSA) is an international non-profit organization (aisbl), registered under Belgian law and partially funded under the EU Creative Europe programme. As a professional organization, the alliance’s principal mission is to represent and to advocate for the interests of Europe’s composers and songwriters. ECSA advocates for equitable commercial conditions for music authors and strives to improve social and economic development of music creation in Europe.

The ECSA office is currently searching for an **Executive/Finance Officer** with a Finance, Management or Cultural Management background who will be responsible for the overall budget management and daily administration of ECSA. The Executive/Finance Officer will work under the direction of the Secretary General and carry out a wide range of tasks in line with ECSA’s mission and aims, including the specific tasks as mentioned hereunder:

- Maintaining all accounts of the office, including incomings, outgoings and receipts and updating all accounts on a regular basis
- Managing the financial aspects of the European funding, drafting and managing budgets
- Liaising and managing the relationship with ECSA members, national composer and songwriter associations, in collaboration with the ECSA team
- Liaising and collaborating closely with the ECSA Programme Managers, particularly in respect to financial aspects of their activities.
- Preparing supporting documents for institutional meetings (i.e Board meetings, General Assemblies), such as minutes, reports and agendas, in collaboration with the ECSA team and under the supervision of the ECSA Secretary General
- Collaborating with the ECSA team on updating the website and social media, drafting newsletter items and ensuring a strong ECSA public communication strategy,
- Coordinating the preparation of the ECSA meetings in Brussels and abroad (travel and hotel arrangements, preparation of relevant documents and materials)
- Managing logistics related to ECSA’s activities
- General human resources management of the office, under the supervision of ECSA’s Secretary General, including the recruitment and supervision of interns,
- Supervising the maintenance, the regular update of ECSA’s contact lists (notably of ECSA members)
- Coordinating the office management and provide administrative support, as well as any other tasks assigned to by the Secretary General
- Representing the ECSA staff in ECSA working groups, particularly the Diversity & Inclusion Working Group
- General support to the ECSA team

**Profile**:

- Background in Finance, Management, Cultural Management and/or Economics
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international membership-based organisation
- Experience in managing budgets
- Experience in NGO’s administration
- Excellent English skills and very good professional knowledge of French - any additional language is an asset
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (notably Microsoft Excel)
- Very good drafting and editorial skills
- Very good organisational skills and attention to detail

**Desirable**:

- Experience in managing EU funding programmes and grants
- Experience in human resources administration
- Experience in working in a small and dynamic team
- Interest in music, culture and willingness to travel

**Preferred entry date: as soon as possible**

**Contract specifications: Full time, CDI Belgian contract**

Remuneration package: from 1900 to 2200 € (depending on experience) gross/month + various benefits (120€/month teleworking allowance, meal vouchers, reimbursement of local public transport subscription, 13th month).

The position is based in Brussels; part-time teleworking will be allowed.
