**Expert Lead Credit Risk Information Mgmt**

**Your role & work environment**

Credit Risk has come to the center stage of banking again during these uncertain economic times. As Expert Lead Credit Risk Information Management at ING, you will play a crucial delivery role in the data-driven culture supporting our internal & external stakeholders.

Being part of the Center of Expertise Reporting, you can make the difference for the bank by providing accurate, qualitative and consistent credit risk reports to external stakeholders (regulator and auditor) and support the decisioning process of our senior executives.

**Your key responsibilities**

**Ensure consistent and high quality output with regards to credit risk information in an efficient way**:

- Planning and coordinating of external and internal deliverables within the team
- Priority and backlog management for the tasks being allocated to the team, with the right balance between run, change & ad-hoc requests
- Capture, anticipate and prepare new internal and external requirements within responsibilities (of which ESG and Loan Tape requirements)
- Optimize reports and processes in scope of the team

**Value creation by**:

- Managing timely & first time right deliveries (via KPI monitoring)
- Participating and bringing the necessary insight during strategical discussions on the underlying data needs and data model
- Making sure the necessary data quality controls are in place to valide the reports being produced

**You will contribute on a diverse range of acivities such as**:

- Financial & Regulatory Reporting in collaboration with Finance
- Support of Loan Loss Provisioning processes
- Monitoring of Watchlist, Regularisation, Restructuring & Recovery portfolios, including underlying portfolio dynamics
- Prepare the recurrent data packs used as an input in the Portfolio Monitoring Committee
- Improved governance by the closing of ECB findings resulting from the on/off site inspections and findings raised by Internal Audit Dept

As Expert Lead Credit Risk Information Management you will also need:

- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike, and/or equivalent experience of minimum 5 to 10 years within credit risk reporting
- A good knowledge of reporting tools such as SAS Enteprise Guide, SAS Visual Analyics, SQL and/or other reporting techniques
- Ability to understand complex credit risk concepts, as well as to clearly communicate on them to the stakeholders and be able to explain them to the team when deemed necessary
- A “Think out of the box” attitude, and do not hesitate to challenge processes in place to gain in efficiency
- Former experience as product owner or lead is a plus
- Excellent Senior Stakeholder Management skills
