Attaché(e) à la filiale belge d’HEPHAISTOS, vous participerez aux activités de développement de procédés de production et de formulation liposomale, et aux transferts de technologie vers les sous-traitants. Pour ce faire vous accomplirez les missions suivantes:
**Responsabilités**
- Développer et optimiser des procédés de production pour augmenter l’efficacité de ceux-ci et permettre la transposition à échelle industrielle, plus particulièrement les procédés d’extraction par solvants, de centrifugation, de filtration (nano & micro, depth & tangential flow filtrations) et de lyophilisation.
- Réaliser l’optimisation des procédés de formulation liposomale et apporter les modifications nécessaires pour la montée en échelle.
- Evaluer et ajuster des technologies alternatives aux équipements et procédés actuels sur base de recherches dans la littérature et en se tenant au courant de l’évolution de la science et de la technologie.
- Planifier et réaliser des essais de procédés en laboratoire à petite échelle.
- Réévaluer les processus et identifier les domaines d’amélioration.
- Identifier les paramètres critiques des procédés de production qui impactent les attributs qualité et sécurité des produits finaux.
- Définir et évaluer les contrôles en cours de process (In-Process Controls) nécessaires pour atteindre la qualité requise pour les produits finaux et limiter la variation de lot à lot.
- Collaborer avec le scientifique du développement analytique pour définir et mettre en place les contrôles analytiques requis pour le contrôle du processus de production et des produits finis (Drug Substance et Drug Product)
- Collaborer avec les différents départements d’HEPHAISTOS impliqués dans les productions de lots cliniques (CMC, QA, RA, Finance).
- Rédiger les rapports de développement et les documents techniques nécessaires (SOP, Process summary,).
- Présenter les résultats à des groupes extérieurs au département de manière succincte, bien organisée et cohérente.
- Superviser le transfert des procédés et leur mise en œuvre chez les sous-traitants pour la préparation des productions de lots cliniques.
- Gérer et tenir à jour les inventaires des stocks produits et consommables.
- Gérer les commandes de matériel et de réactifs.

**Qualifications**
- Soit détenir un PhD en chimie (ou dans un domaine similaire) ou être ingénieur chimiste, et avoir un minimum de 3 années d’expérience dans une société de biotechnologie ou dans l’industrie pharmaceutique.

Soit détenir une maitrise en chimie (ou dans un domaine similaire) et avoir un minimum de 5 années d’expérience dans une société de biotechnologie ou dans l’industrie pharmaceutique.
- Disposer d’une expérience solide dans le développement, l’optimisation et le transfert de processus techniques dans un environnement de fabrication GMP.
- Avoir de l’expérience en extraction, filtration, centrifugation et lyophilisation. Une expérience en procédés microfluidiques est un plus.
- Posséder de l’expérience en formulation liquide, de préférence en formulation liposomale ou LNP.
- Être capable de concevoir et d’exécuter de manière indépendante des expériences avec les principes fondamentaux du plan d'expériences (DOE) et d'analyser, documenter et présenter les résultats.
- Connaitre les GMP (Bonnes Pratiques de Fabrication).
- Être autonome et organisé(e).
- Être rigoureux(se) et porter une attention particulière aux détails.
- Présenter de bonnes compétences relationnelles et de communication, ainsi que pouvoir collaborer avec d’autres départements et des sous-traitants externes.
- Rédiger de la documentation et communiquer avec aisance en anglais
- Avoir de l’affinité pour les outils IT et le pack Office.
