**Your role & work environment**
As part of the development towards a “More Digital
- and Data driven Bank”, ING is renewing the reporting data management capabilities globally.
The CoE Reporting department ensures accurate and qualitative reporting within ING Belgium. It handles various reporting activities related to finance, regulation, credit risk, income, and balance sheet across four teams.
As the product lead of CoE Reporting at ING, you will play a vital role in coaching and training reporting and data experts to excel in the demanding environment. Additionally, you will support the CoE Lead in executing the strategy to streamline, automate, and simplify existing reporting processes. This includes continuing ongoing projects like the Reporting Target Operating Model and moving reporting activities to the target architecture (Unite Data Lake). Another crucial responsibility is setting up ESG / CRSD reporting, which aligns with the bank's strategic vision.
**Your key responsibilities**
**Lead a team of about 20 to 25 data and reporting experts**:
- Build a pro-active capacity plan anticipating the regulatory deadlines
- Coaching and training of reporting and data experts
- Install best practices with regards to knowledge management and alternateship
- Facilitate the Agile way of Working taking into consideration priorities of other stakeholders within the organisation.
**Execute the CoE Reporting vision and strategy**:
- Participating and bringing the insight during strategical discussions on the underlying data needs and data model
- Support backlog and priority management for new regulatory and non-regulatory reporting initiatives
- Support further integration of other reporting activities within CoE Reporting
- Drive the business data requirements for ESG/CSRD reporting in collaboration with the Transformation Office
**We look for**
As a Product Lead CoE Reporting you will also need:
- A previous experience in People Management (3-5 years)
- A previous experience within an Agile environment
- A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike, and/or equivalent experience of minimum 5 years within data-related or reporting
- related activities
- A good knowledge of reporting tools such as SAS Enteprise Guide, SAS Visual Analyics, SQL and/or other reporting techniques is a plus
- A “Think out of the box” attitude, and do not hesitate to challenge processes in place to gain in efficiency
- Excellent Senior Stakeholder Management skills
- A curious and learning attitude
