**Your role & work environment**
- ING Corporate Investments is an ambitious private equity investor with a successful investment track record of more than 25 years. The team currently manages_ 8_ portfolio companies _(privateequity.ing.be_)_
- As an analyst within the Corporate Investments team, you will be involved in equity investments and transactions in Belgium. Under supervision of Investment Directors, you will get into contact with key decision takers at a broad range of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and get an in-depth understanding of their financials, business models, market dynamics,_

**Your key responsibilities**

Under the supervision of an Investment Director, you will:
Assist in the different steps of the origination and investment process
- Conduct financial analysis to assess investment opportunities in SMEs
- Perform due diligence on potential target companies, including market research, financial analysis and risk assessments
- Create financial models including cash flow statements and valuations
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Participate to (negotiation) meetings

Assist in the management of the Private Equity Investments portfolio
- Monitor and analyse the financial performance of portfolio companies, identifying areas for improvement
- Build relationships with management teams of portfolio companies and provide ongoing support
- Conduct industry and competitive analysis to stay informed about market trends and opportunities

As an analyst within the Corporate Investments team you will also need:

- Master degree (applied) economics or civil engineer with an additional degree (MBA/Finance or other relevant education)
- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in an analytical function within the financial sector
- Experience with Corporate Finance and/or experience with Debt Structuring is a plus
- Deep knowledge of financial analysis
- Good command in Dutch, English and French
- Good command of Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Furthermore, you should also be someone who is:
