**A day in the life of an Assistant Parent Account Manager**:
- Supporting the PAMs in the day-to-day maintenance and planning on existing client relationships
- Developing Existing and New Relationships with our Nordic Corporate Clients in Norway, Finland and the Baltics.
- Coordinating business development and ongoing projects with Product Specialists throughout the ING Network while ensuring close collaboration with Risk Management.
- Maintaining data quality and ensuring compliance requirements are met for revenue tracking and administrative work such as Call Reports after client meetings.
- Managing your own sub-portfolio of clients under the ultimate responsibility of the Parent Account Manager.

- **You have a master’s degree (MBA, economics or comparable)**:
- Be fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French and/or a Scandinavian language is a plus.
- Be commercially oriented, customer focused and keen to take initiative including with prospecting and developing new client relationships.
- Be investigative and have strong learning abilities.
- Be willing to act in a cross-border environment.

**The team**
The APAM is a vital component in the day-to-day functioning of the Nordic Team. Although based in Brussels, the team covers clients in all ING sectors (except for Real Estate) across the 4 Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark) along with Iceland and the 3 Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia). A lot of work goes into maintaining client relationships and PAMs, with the support of their APAMs, are the first point of contact for clients. As an APAM you will also help the PAM coordinate almost all client projects from start-to-finish, while involving with the appropriate internal teams throughout the ING network. The team, which consists of 17 individuals, including yourself, is extremely diverse with 8 nationalities being represented and an almost equal proportion of women to men. The team is full of fun and engaging people and is easy to integrate into.
