The Agility & Transformation Tribe (A&T Tribe) is responsible to support the transformation to create more agility in our Telenet enterprise environment. Within the A&T Tribe, the Flow Management-as-a-Service team provides coordination and orchestration support for the complex priority projects and programs that span multiple departments. The team also supports those departments in improving their delivery efficiency.
As the manager of the Flow Management-as-a-Service team, you will be responsible for the efficient allocation of program and project manager support, while guarding the alignment to the principles of our Telenet agile transformation approach. Next to that you will be supporting our agile transformation tracks and delivery optimization exercises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 13 Project and Program managers.
- Develop and implement the agile project management (Flow Management) strategy and way of working, to align with the Telenet agile transformation approach.
- Translate the agile transformation strategy to tactical approaches, in realistic steps and evolutionary paths, to create optimal delivery support while envisioning the transformation goals to reach. This will be done in collaboration with the Transformation Managers and Transformation Experts.
- Manage the project/program manager allocations to initiatives, balancing the demand and available capacity and this in line with the envisioned way of working
- Support the development and training of the employees to integrate the Flow Management way of working in the agile approach.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage the relationship with Consultancy Suppliers, negotiate contracts and assignments, monitor consultancy quality and budget.
- Lead and/or support the Guild working - which is a community of practice organized around specific roles -, balancing the ad hoc needs of the organization for orchestration and coordination with the goals of the transformation strategy and aligning with the evolution of all agile roles within the company.
**Requirements**:
- Master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of English and Dutch is mandatory, knowledge of French is an asset
- Proven experience in program and project management
- Proven successes in large and complex deliveries
- Familiarity with multiple project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with implementing agile project management in a hybrid environment
- Knowledge of / experience with implementing agile approaches in a scaled enterprise environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and develop a team of professionals and experts.
