**Responsibilities**:
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with key policymakers and other relevant external stakeholders in Brussels in order to represent TikTok's mission and policy positions;
- Identify and analyse relevant policy trends and legislative proposals with a view to providing strategic direction to the company;
- Develop creative strategies on issues of importance to TikTok and deliver world-class advocacy campaigns;
- Represent TikTok in public fora as a senior representative of the company, including engagement with media, and deputise for the Director of Public Policy & Government Relations as needed;
- Contribute to the wider team's success and work collaboratively with internal cross-functional stakeholders to help guide the development of products, services, and policies.
**Qualifications**:
- 12+ years of relevant Brussels-based experience in public policy / government relations;
- A keen understanding of the Brussels political system and a strong contact network with senior policymakers and key opinion leaders;
- Deep knowledge of relevant EU public policy issues and regulatory trends that may impact the company and the EU policy-making process;
- Highly adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment and to deliver measurable results;
- Excellent written and presentation skills; multilingual skills are a distinct advantage.
