Stater Belgium is op zoek naar een **Internal Controls & Reporting Medewerker **ter versterking van haar Finance departement. Wij staan garant voor een hoogkwalitatieve financiële dienst ten aanzien van verschillende grootbanken en verzekeringsmaatschappijen in België.
**Doel van de functie**:
Bewaken van operationele risico’s door het toezien dat alle diensten werken volgens interne een externe compliance en riskmanagement richtlijnen en procedures.
**Je taken**:
Beheren en bewaken van operationele risico’s volgens interne en externe compliance en riskmanagementrichtlijnen en procedures:
- Voert operationele controles uit op de processen en de uitvoering ervan door de centrale systemen;
- Voert kwaliteitscontroles uit op de inhoudelijke correctheid en volledigheid van zowel individuele documenten als volledige dossiers, en dit conform interne en externe procedures en wettelijke voorschriften met het oog op het voorkomen van operationele risico’s;
- Voert interne auditcontroles uit op de werking van alle operationele diensten conform interne en externe compliance en riskmanagement procedures en wettelijke voorschriften;
- Geeft feedback aan de operationele diensten, biedt oplossingen en adviseert ter voorkoming van operationele risico’s; werkt hiertoe nauw samen met de Compliance en Riskmanagement diensten binnen Stater;
- Ondersteunt en draagt bij tot de implementatie van verbeteringsprocessen, procedures en technologische oplossingen met het oog op Compliance en Riskmanagement;
- Neemt deel aan de uitwerking van systemen en procedures om risicotypes te herkennen, identificeren, meten, bewaken en beheersen;
- Stelt normen en beste praktijken op m.b.t. Compliance
- en Risicobeleid, richtlijnen, procedures en systemen ten behoeve van Operations; zorgt voor een geïntegreerde aanpak, operationele efficiëntie, effectiviteit en de toepassing van deze normen en beste praktijken;
- Ontwikkelt een grondig inzicht in de werking en problemen in de operationele diensten; en waar nodig formuleert proactief een benadering;
- Adviseert over Compliance
- en Risicobeheerkaders en over het beoordelen en meten van risico's;
- Identificeert mogelijke risico’s en rapporteert deze, formuleert corrigerende maatregelen en vereiste acties, zorgt voor de uitvoering ervan, evalueert en stuurt bij;
- escaleert incidenten naar de juiste personen; zoekt naar gepaste oplossingen.
Versterken van het bewustzijn m.b.t. Compliance
- en Risicobeheer
- Verstrekt adviezen aan supervisors en hun diensten m.b.t. Compliance
- en Risicobeheer; wijst op hun verantwoordelijkheden;
- Staat in voor de bewustmaking t.a.v. operationele risico’s;
- Blijft zelf op de hoogte van de interne procedures en externe regelgeving m.b.t. Compliance en Riskmanagement;
- deelt kennis, ervaring en inzichten met collega’s.
**Je profiel**:
- Je hebt bij voorkeur 5 tot 7 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke functie: risk management, safe business agent of audit.
- Nederlands of Franstalig met een goede kennis van de andere landstaal. Kennis van het Engels
- Je hebt een bachelor diploma of equivalent door ervaring
- Je hebt een zeer goede kennis Excel
- Kennis van proces design & analyse
- Competenties: kritisch durven denken, analytisch sterk risk & control minded
