**POST CONTEXT**:
SHAPE provides an integrated Strategic Effects framework, employing a multi-domain and multi-region focus to create a 360-degree approach, with the flexibility to enable, upon direction, a seamless transition from Baseline Activities and Current Operations (BACO) up to the Maximum Level of Effort (MLE). SHAPE supports SACEUR in fulfilling his terms of reference, as directed by the North Atlantic Council.
The Office of Special Operations (OSO) provides an assured Special Operations Forces (SOF) theatre component capability to SACEUR.
Assists the SOFAD XO in supporting the execution of SOF theatre component Roles, Responsibilities, and Authority (RRAs), and management of the Office of Special Operations

OSC SXXX 0020
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES**:
The incumbent’s duties are:
- Establish and maintain Information Management (IM) Architecture in SHAPE Office of Special Operations (OSO).
- Serve as the SHAPE OSO’s Communications Information Systems (CIS) Coordinator during its expansion of personnel and office space.
- Assist the OSO EXO with the OSO’s information management, establishing and then maintaining the OSO’s document library ensuring that the correct file structures are issued. Identifies and troubles systems malfunctions. Responsible for developing principles and guidance for the establishment and coordination of human knowledge networks.
- Provide functional administration of the OSO’s document management, tasker, portal, and other IKM collaboration systems, including those IKM systems from, or involving, the NATO Special Operations Headquarters (NSHQ).
- Develop, execute test plans, and provide user acceptance authority for the fielding of new IKM tools from SHAPE and the NSHQ, in close coordination with the SHAPE Director of Management and NSHQ’s Chief Information Officer (CIO).
- Serve as the CIS coordinator in the OSO to provide technical support to all information and communication related matters, handling change requests and incidents and submitting to CSU Mons via the Centralized Service Desk.
- Provide guidance to best utilize and employ IKM tools within the OSO.
There are no first line reporting responsibilities.
**ADDITIONAL DUTIES**:
The work is normally performed in a typical Office environment. Normal Working Conditions apply. The risk of injury is categorised as: No risk.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**1. Professional/Experience**:
**Primary:
- Good experience with Microsoft Outlook, Enterprise Documents Management System and Tasker Tracker +;
- Previous experience as CIS Coordinator or CIS POC;
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project and ITIL4;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
- A proven ability to present information in a clear and logical manner both in writing and by other means with extreme accuracy and attention to detail;
- Experience working in an environment with a high volume work load and a flexible, service-minded attitude and ability to take initiative;
- Ability to initiate and conduct liaison with stakeholders (BSG, NCIA, IKM);
- A good knowledge of English, both written and spoken and basic knowledge of French;
- Knowledge of NATO Responsibilities and Organization;
- Prior experience of working in NATO or in an international environment comprising military and civilian elements.
**2. Education/Training**:
Secondary education and completed basic vocational training in management information systems, accounting, economics, finance, business administration, public administration, operations research, project management or related discipline leading to a formal technical or professional certification with 3 years related experience.
**3. Language**:
English SLP 2222 (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing)
NOTE: The work both oral and written in this post and in this Headquarters as a whole is conducted mainly in English.

Experience defining, documenting and carrying out projects, actively participating in all phases. Individual should have experience identifying, assessing and managing risk to the success of projects, preparing realistic project and quality plans and tracking activities against the plans, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders and monitoring costs, timescales, and resources used.
Programme management : the identification, planning, and coordination of a set of related projects within a programme of business change, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies and objectives.
