Ons BAS team beheert en onderhoudt de technologie om een zo hoog mogelijke kwaliteit, bedrijfszekerheid en continuïteit te verzekeren voor de meest kritische businessprocessen van VRT.
Het toenemend belang van softwareoplossingen en integraties i.c.m. een data-gedreven aanpak en een organisatie die continu probeert in te spelen op verandering in de ruimste zin van het woord zorgt voor tal van nieuwe uitdagingen bij het BAS team.
We zoeken een ondernemende productowner die samen met het team verder aan de toekomst werkt door een stevige productvisie te ontwikkelen als gaat over de meest kritische business processen (resource en financiële planning, rapportage, aankoop, accounting, HR,) op VRT.
Door samen met het team op een slimme manier, bestaande legacy applicaties verder uit te faseren en/of te vervangen door nieuwere clouddiensten, slaag je erin om voldoende ruimte te creëren zodat deze visie realiteit kan worden.
Het BAS team maakt deel uit van de directie Technologie & Infrastructuur (T&I).
Dit een zelfstandige contract via tussenpersoon. De VRT maakt voor haar selectieproces hiervoor gebruik van het platform van de organisatie Public Sourcing. Je krijgt dan een contract aangeboden niet met VRT, maar met Public Sourcing. Als je op ‘Solliciteren’ klikt, word je doorgestuurd naar het platform van ‘Connecting-Expertise’. Dit is het platform dat door Public Sourcing wordt gebruikt.
Wat ga je bij ons doen?
Als productowner speel je een cruciale en leidende rol in het team; je bent de lead in bruggen bouwen tussen business requirements en uitvoering. D.i. samenwerking, kennis en informatie laten doorstromen van andere departementen, stakeholders, leveranciers etc... richting team.
Je vertaalt de visie naar middellange termijn doelstellingen op vlak van product / projecten. Deze strategie is gefundeerd op de wensen van business en is in overleg met de Business Partners en het team. Je denkt mee naar toekomstgerichte oplossingen die hiermee overeenstemmen zonder de gevraagde kwaliteit uit het oog te verliezen.
Je draagt bij door deze strategie op te delen in kleinere stappen zodat het team in de korte termijn aan de juiste zaken werkt volgens de juiste business waarde. Hierin staat de juiste prioriteiten aangeven voorop. Je stuurt het team inhoudelijk met als doel maximale business waarde op te leveren rekening houdend met de beschikbare capaciteit en ongeplande situaties.
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor korte termijn planning samen met het team, het verfijnen van het werk en het evenwicht te bewaken tussen projectwerk en product en service verbetering. Je staat in voor het definiëren van user stories en KT doelstellingen.
Je bewaakt voortgang en evalueert mee de teamperformance. Je waarborgt, samen met het team, de technische en architecturale consistentie van gebouwde oplossingen. Samen met de teamcoach zorg je ervoor dat de juiste domeinexpertise en skills behouden of ontwikkeld worden binnen het team om een ambitieuze productvisie realiteit te laten worden.
Je organiseert de regelmatige overlegmomenten (e.g. team refinement) en verzorgt de communicatie met de stakeholders (e.g. review, business refinement,...).
Je bouwt een sterke samenwerking en vertrouwensband op met team en met de team coach. Constructieve conflicten schrikken je niet af.
Je waakt over een vlotte samenwerking, niet alleen binnen het eigen team maar zeker ook met de andere teams en departementen op VRT. Je staat zelf ook open voor 360° feedback gericht op jou. Je zorgt voor een gedragen productvisie binnen en buiten het team en slaagt erin om de juiste balans te creëren tussen langere termijn en korte termijn doelstellingen voor het team.
Je organiseert, coördineert en bereidt de agile processen binnen het team voor die erop gericht zijn om die stevige productvisie uit te kunnen bouwen en te onderhouden; refinement en architectuur sessies, bouwen van MVP’s, planningsessies, een georganiseerde backlog die up-to-date is etc..
Je slaagt erin om continu de juiste discussies te initiëren met het team en haar stakeholders.
Je stelt samen met de teamcoach doelstellingen op voor jouw team, die in lijn liggen met de grote strategische ambities van de afdeling. Je communiceert deze doelstellingen naar de medewerkers en voelt je verantwoordelijk voor de best mogelijke implementatie ervan. Je beheert het investeringsbudget van je team. Je tracht de T&I ambities en Vuurtoren 2030 principes binnen VRT op een zo concreet mogelijke manier te vertalen naar eigen teamdoelstellingen samen met de teamcoach en waakt erover
