We are looking for our client, a global multinational company in B2C business services, with a very high volume of clients and transactions for the role of Business Applications Director - VP Applications Director - CIO - Europe .

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Backoffice solutions programs in a complex environment.
  • Analyze and comprehend business needs and requirements to provide strategic solutions.
  • Manage stakeholders’ project expectations, escalations, and reporting to relevant areas within IT.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document project requirements and submit proper requests for budget approvals for 5YP initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure the development and maintenance of requirement documentation, including scope, objectives, functional specifications, and use cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Work with development and testing teams to ensure solutions meet project requirements.
  • Govern Backoffice solutions programs (Procurement, HR, Sustainability, Legal).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand drivers, definitions, and evolution of KPIs and project scopes.
  • People management: Work actively and closely with Backoffice team and software development teams (approximately 100 people).

Must Have Experience:

  • Extensive experience across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Project management experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in lead roles or similar in a large complex organization with a multinational environment in B2C business services, Airlines, Insurances, or Retail.
  • Excellent level of English with good communication skills (oral & written).
  • Ability and flexibility to adjust to a fast-changing and demanding environment.

Other Requirements:

  • SAP Certification.
  • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
  • Location: Europe and traveling across EMEA.
