Robert Half is currently seeking a full-time **Procurement** **Assistant** for a client active in the technological sector. The company is located in Haren. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of a permanent contract.

Our client is a **leading** **player** in the **technological** **sector**. You will be working at the Belgian headquarters of the company. It is an international company with global operations. You will join a team of 6 people in procurement. The company is accessible by bus and also has ample parking. After the training period, up to 2 days of telecommuting is possible. Flexible hours are also available.

**Job description**:

- You will be responsible for the procurement of one of the company's divisions;
- You will order materials for the various factories worldwide from suppliers;
- You will start from existing framework agreements;
- Occasionally, you will ad hoc search for a supplier for a specific product;
- You will handle all internal and external communication regarding procurement in a professional manner;
- You will assist in price negotiations for products;
- You will create purchase orders and follow them up;
- You will check the delivery of ordered products;
- You will be responsible for stock management of the products;
- You will manage maintenance contracts;
- You will invoice the ordered products to the appropriate factory or service;
- You will keep the relevant departments informed of the status of their orders.

**The required qualifications for this position as a procurement assistant are**:

- You have a very good command of French and English, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.;
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree;
- You have experience in procurement;
- You have initial experience with coordinating administration;
- You are structured;
- You can work independently smoothly;
- You work in a structured manner
- Haren is easily accessible for you;
- You work independently.
