Job Summary
The production planner is responsible for analyzing, preparing and following the maintenance work orders as well as the improvement of maintenance work cards. He/she works in close cooperation with our dock chiefs, CAMO type engineer and the supply chain department.
The production planner’s function is to perform an accurate assignment/scheduling of man-hours, tools, and spare parts to the received maintenance tasks
- Respons. & areas
**Preparation and follow-up of work orders**:
- Analysis, preparation, and follow-up of maintenance work orders;
- Tool allocation and follow-up in coordination with the production planners on the different bases;
- Assignment of the full collection of all consumables and spare parts to perform the maintenance tasks;
- Weekly status follow-up on helicopter, parts, man-hours.
**Follow-up & optimization**:
- Make use of the information on work progress in order to control and optimize the planning of the engineers;
- Round-up and reporting, analysing of the work package, evaluation of organizational issues in the work done;
- Keep track on the actual performed man hours against the planned man hours in order to adapt and optimize the production program;
- Report any errors and/or discrepancies in the database;
- Make proposals and tests for system and process improvements (continuous improvement of the job).
**Communication**:
- Liaise with Chief Engineers, dock chiefs, CAMOon work orders;
- Communicate with maintenance planner on received work orders;
- Maintain overall fluent communication with engineers, CAMO and the Supply Chain Department.
- Experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in a technical environment;
- Bachelor degree in aviation or relevant by experience;
- Experience in using maintenance technical publications is a plus.

- Languages:
- English: professional level speaking - writing - understanding
- French: professional level speaking - writing - understanding is a plus
- Knowledge of another language is a plus
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Budget and time sensible
- Act proactive and problem solving
